You'll leave the Valley Station (2,643 feet) and ascend to a height of 8,516 feet while riding the world's largest rotating tramcars. At the top you'll experience breathtaking views of the valley below.
In addition to 54 miles of hiking, the Mountain Station has two restaurants, Cocktail lounge, gift shop, natural history museum, and a theatre showing a special documentary film on the history of the Tram. You'll surely want a camera for this outing. Temperature at the top is generally 30 degrees (Fahrenheit) cooler than the Valley temperature. INDIAN CANYONS - Palm Springs' second most popular attraction is only 4.5 miles from your vacation home. Indian Canyons consist of Palm Canyon, Andreas Canyon, and Murray Canyon. See where the natives of this land lived in harmony and created seasonal habitats. There are many hiking trails and streams to explore or have lunch under the native palms with your feet in a cool pool. JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK - Visitors from all over the world come to Joshua Tree National Park to see the unique landscape created where the Mojave desert meets the Colorado Desert. It is here where the famous Joshua Tree grows at an average rate of .5 inches per year.
The tallest Joshua tree is 40 feet high and estimated to be 300 years old! This park is known for it's fantastic rock climbing, hiking trails, and camping. Admission is reasonable. Once inside the park you'll also want to visit Keys View for a spectacular view of the valley below (5,185 feet/ 1581 meters). Joshua Tree National Park is an easy 40 mile drive from your vacation home. SPA CASINO RESORT & SPA - Only 2.5 miles from your vacation home is Palm Springs' Downtown Resort Casino. Try your luck on the card tables or slot machines.
Main House Renters have full access to all but a Casita Studio with a king size bed. Living area has a full couch and chair with it's own patio and separate entrance. No access to pool or back yard unless main house is also rented. There is a separate charge of $800/week or $2,000/month. Your guest will have their own retreat.

Where does the BUZZ serve?
The BUZZ serves the City of Palm Springs. Basically, it runs down Palm Canyon to Smoketree, and up Indian and Palm Canyons to Via Escuela (That’s the simple description—there are some small detours off the main streets.) Check the route map: (URL HIDDEN)

There is no outside amplified noise (i.e., music) allowed at any Short Term Vacation Rental property while being rented. It must be fully contained within the property at all times. Occupancy limits are based on the number of bedrooms at property. Therefore daytime visitors are limited to 9 guest. While overnight visitors are limited to 6 guest.
