  • Perfect location within walking distance of the Melville bars and restaurants. The rooms are themed and I wish I could have taken a tour around to see all of them! The breakfast was great and we were able to pick from a menu the day before and have it ready for us when we woke up. Special thanks go to Lindiwe for being such a fantastic host.

  • Nomndeni De la Changuion was a lovely, clean, quiet, and welcoming place to stay during my first trip to Johannesburg. Lindiwe was an awesome host and cook. I will especially miss the lovely bathrooms, breakfasts, and the dogs Magenta and Eggy! I will definitely be back!

I like having people around me, and to spend time with my family and friend. I like movies, love music, and love to cook and eat food. I like almost any type of music. Music forms part of my soul. It can make me happy or it can make me cry. I love cooking and eating food and although I like traditional Afrikaans South African "boerekos", I also like cooking and eating food from all over the World. I like to experiment and try new things. As a host you can expect a warm welcome from me and my staff. We will welcome our guests, check them in, and then show them their room and explain where everything is that the guest might need during their stay. One of my staff members and myself live on the property to ensure good prompt service to our guests. Although we live on the property, we believe that the guest must have complete privacy. If a guest wants to ask questions we will help them by answering the questions, and to organise services such as transport, tours, etc. We do not force ourselves onto guests in terms of making conversation. However if a guests want to make conversation, we love to chat to them. Guests have their own remote to the motor operated gate, to get access to the property. They also have a set of keys to the main entrance doors of the property as well as their guest room. Therefore guests can come and go however they want. We are the type of host that are accommodating if guests have friends that visit them at the guest house.
