The hippest spot with sunny balcony

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Bjelkes Allé, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

The Space

The trendy, hippest street in the city called 'Jægersborggade' is just around the next corner (parallel street) where you'll find cool bars and cozy cafes, excellent coffee and bakery, an affordable not-fancy Michelin-restaurant and small, trendy shops. From the apartment you have a view to the famous Assistens Cemetery (Danish: Assistens Kirkegård) just opposite the street, where a large number of Danish notables are buried, such as the famous Danish philosopher, Soren Kirekegaard. Take a walk in the beautiful ooases which is a unique, tranquille spot right in the city and very popular hang-around place for Copenhageners.

Basically, you are staying at the hippest spot in Cph. close to shopping, supermarkets and all public transport.
The flat has wi-fi, a new, fully equipped kitchen, shower and a brand new big, sunny balcony, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying breakfast or a glass of wine (and the only place in the apt. where you can smoke :).
Also, free parking right outside the door which is a huge saving on the budget.

A lovely bedroom with a large bed, cool living room with a big dinner table and couch area, large flatscreen with cable-tv (big tv-package). You'll find a bus stop just outside the apartment that takes you directly to a big shopping mall with metro directly to/from the airport - it couldn't get any easier - and you can also walk to most places in Cph.

  • We had a great 3 night stay at Rikke's apartment. Perfect spot and very easy transfer from the airport. Hired bikes from around the corner and tried to blend in as best we could. Everything we needed was provided for and Rikke's was on hand for any questions. Highly recommend

  • Rikke's place was handy, groovy and comfortable. It's a quick bus ride to town or a very interesting 30 minute walk (we recommend). In the next street is cute stores, good coffee, a porridge restaurant and great cheap takeaway pizza. The apartment is compact and has everything you need. Thanks Rikke!

  • This is a lovely flat that's well located. We managed to walk everywhere from here and the surrounding neighbourhood has lots going on with some great little bars and cafe's that aren't too expensive.

Rikke and her cleaner were communicative, friendly and helpful. If we visited Copenhagen again would definitely consider staying here.

  • We had a wonderful stay in Rikke's apartment, I can't recommend it enough!

The area is incredibly cool, and the locals are only too happy to tell you all about how up and coming their district is, and fill you in on the history of the area. The adjacent road is lined with cute independent boutiques and thrift stores, bakeries, a chocolatier, coffee bars and some of the nicest restaurants in town. We enjoyed an incredible dinner in Manfreds on the night we arrived, which was the best introduction to Copenhagen dining possible!

The apartment itself was completely perfect for our requirements, it had everything we needed and we were extremely comfortable in Rikke's cosy, beautifully decorated flat. It was exactly suited to our tastes, full of quirky, cheerful, interesting touches. Although we didn't meet Rikke herself, she was wonderfully available to us over email in the lead-up to the break, and the directions for getting to the apartment were simple and easy to follow. Upon our arrival, Julie, Rikke's cleaner was waiting for us and happy to let us in.

I really don't have much in the way of negative comments - the only drawbacks to the apartment were 1) the loo was a bit broken and you had to carefully negotiate the flushing mechanism, 2) due to the next guests arriving early, on our final day we needed to be up and out of the apartment at 9.30am on a Sunday morning.

    Highly recommended!

  • We spent some wonderful days in copenhagen. Rikke was a great host and was very helpful and friendly. Her flat offered us everything we need. It was cosy, clean and its in a very good location. After about a 15 minutes-walk you're in the citycenter. It was perfect for us. We had a great stay and looking forward to see copenhagen and her flat again :-)

So easy to get into the centre of town and such a comfortable and cosy apartment. We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family.
