  • Erik's place was perfect for my first trip to San Fran. It's location is super convenient. His building is literally 15 steps to the Forrest Hills BART/MUNI station so if you're doing public transportation you're in a primo location. He is also on the other side of Twin Peaks (four minutes away) which is the best place to see all of San Francisco on the highest point and you are right up the street from the Castro.
His apartment is on the first floor and has lots of character. It's essentially a studio deluxe. You walk in and there is a long hallway to a bright and clean bathroom with plenty of towels. There is also a full kitchen & fridge that is stocked with cooking items (spices, olive oil, pots/pans etc) so if you wanna save a buck or two you can bring or pick up some groceries. He also has a dining table that seats four. The main room is huge with a large bay window, a super comfy couch and coffee table and a tempurpedic king size bed. He also has a large flat screen tv with full cable tv, blu-ray and free wi-fi. The apartment is well designed, painted nicely and very tidy. We were looking at hotels in San Fran and everything was like $350+ a night. Eric's place which we got for far less than that a night was perfect. We would not have had all those amenities had we stayed in a downtown hotel. Oh, there is also a laundry room downstairs too with industrial front loading washers and dryers so we were able to go light on our packing and we were able to wash four days of clothes after we left Napa and got to San Fran. Erik and his partner were very good about staying in contact with us. We couldn't figure out how to turn the shower on, so I sent a text to both of them. Even though Erik was out of town, he got back to me in under a minute! I would definitely recommend Erik's place. You feel like you are part of the city and neighborhood when you stay at his place. It was really nice to come home to and relax at the end of day or pop in for mid-day nap. My only fault I could find was the street traffic, but after the second day I just tuned it out.

  • Beautiful, comfortable, Convenient are just the right words to describe Erik's apartment. We felt at home the moment we stepped over the threshold. Erik was there to introduce us to the many facilities when we arrived and everything just worked out perfect. Even though the apartment is not situated downtown, you have easy access to any part of the City you might want to go to, as the MUNI and buses are just a few steps away from the bullding. It may be considered as the only drawback of the apartment that it is located on the ground floor right onto the boulevard, but though traffic was intense at certain periods (rush hour), it didn't disturb us at night. We can't recommend Erik's well equipped apartment enough!

  • Without a doubt, the best host I've had with airbnb thus far.

The apartment was better than described and Eric thought of absolutely everything.

He even had placed fresh flowers throughout the apartment.

It's a great place to stay, convenient, clean and he's a wonderful and cordial host.

  • Erik's apartment is very nice. Even thought it is listed as a studio, there is a roomy, fully equiped kitchen and eating area. The bed is so comfortable and there is a large flat screen TV with full cable. It is literally steps to the Muni station which was very very helpful for me. Erik is also a very attentive, communicative host!
