We arrived much later than expected due to bus delays. We found the street easily and were met in the street by Radmila who also offered drinks and refreshments which were very welcome.
The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable and private although the family lived next door and were ready to help if necessary.
Very close to the old town this was perfect for our stay in Mostar.
After having a bit of difficulty finding the apartment (we were driving and google maps let us down but the apartment is also tucked away so you would need to be met by Dejan on the main road nearest to the flat), we were met by Dejan's grandmother who made us feel instantly welcome. We were offered delicious cake and coffee while we settled in. The apartment is made up of 2 double bedrooms and 1 mini dorm, but no-one else was there so we had the whole place to ourselves! The apartment is exactly what the photos showed and is so homely and cute (the bed does creak a lot!) It's a 5 minute walk to the old city which is unbelievably stunning. Only downside is that there's nowhere to park near the flat apart from the main street and you have to pay, although it's not too expensive (20 km for 24h). We only stayed 1 night and wish we could have stayed longer!
We were made to feel incredibly welcome and the room we had was gorgeous - this was an amazing place to stay at!
The host was very friendly and welcoming, making us a cup of tea and a slice of cake on arrival (once we'd found the place - it's round and round a few corners). The twin room we got was spacious, and the beds comfy (albeit very noisy and creaky when you turned over). The kitchen/diner was nicely decorated. The wifi worked well. It's a 3-4 min walk to the old town, and very quiet (other than the bed springs).
On the negative side, the bathroom was very poorly laid out. The shower had no curtain (soaking wet floor), and the boiler took up all the head space. The toilet was so close to the wall, that you have to sit on it sideways :/
