We had a lovely stay at Lesley's apartment over the holidays! The place was clean, well-stocked, bright, spacious, and a perfect refuge from the busyness of our annual return home for the holidays! She was quite prompt throughout the reservation process, and she was always easily available once we got to Cape Elizabeth. We'll be coming back to town in the summer, and Lesley's place is the first apartment we'll consider for our next vacation!
We had a great stay at Lesley's cottage. The location is awesome - an easy drive into the city, but a welcome escape to come back to a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to the beach and park. We actually stayed in the two bedroom cottage that Lesley offers and it was the perfect size for my husband, toddler, and I. Very clean and Lesley had all of the amenities that we needed, even books and toys for my toddler! I would definitely stay there again.
Lesley and her cottage were absolutely lovely! She was onsite for our arrival to ensure everything was smooth. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would absolutely return to Lesley's cottage again!
The location of the cottage was perfect - it's a very short distance to a private beach and a park. We were able to set out on foot so that parking wasn't ever a concern.
After our departure, Lesley noticed that we left behind a phone charger. She proactively contacted us to ship it home...what a host!!! :)
We had a wonderful tim at Lesley's place! It is in a wonderful area- we enjoyed wonderful morning walks to the lighthouse, ocean and a wonderful donut shop! Very close to Portland and grocery stores. The cottage was wonderful and warm. Lesley was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable!
We loved our stay in Portland. This cottage is located in a great neighborhood. Lesley welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around.
We were only there for two nights and found the cottage conveniently located close to all the spots we wanted to visit.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Lesley's place. The location is very near to the Portland Head Lighthouse and the neighborhood is nice. Unfortunately, we didn't get an opportunity to meet Lesley as she had to leave for work. She sent instructions for getting into the cottage which were easy to follow. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. A few minor issues - I didn't realize that the cottage was part of a larger house, so we were able to hear noises and activity through the walls. The wifi signal comes from the main house and was nearly unusable in the cottage. Also, the windows are a bit old and let in a lot of noise from the road and there is no way to block the light from the bay windows in the bedroom. But these didn't really detract from the overall positive experience we had.
Leslie was gracious and helpful giving us a friendly welcome and giving us a complete tour of the cottage which was extremely well supplied with everything you could think you might need. It was also squeaky clean. The location is in a nice neighborhood and even though the cottage is fairly close to the street, was nice and quiet. It was close to the Portland Head Lighthouse which was very convenient for us as photographers. Grocery stores and several restaurants were within a couple of miles. Would definitely stay here again--for a several day stay it surely does beat a hotel.
