We really liked the area. But had to leave early because of an emergency back home. They were so kind and hospitable.

Awesome place to stay with kids. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of activities including canoeing, fishing, fire pit, kids play house, swings, hammocks, games, painting, etc. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with any questions and quickly became temporary grandparents to our young ones. The place is only a few minutes from the main town. We look forward to visiting again.

While we were surprised that our host would be living in the cabin with us, it ended up being a delight. The place is a kids' dream. There are rocks to paint; legos to build; fishing poles to use along with canoe and paddleboat, to name a few. The weather was not great for us. So, Judy took the kids in hand and showed them out to fish off the dock, rain and all. When the weather still didn't cooperate the next day, Judy salvaged the kids' dream of making s'mores by making a fire in the wood burning fireplace. We and the kids were quite pleased and, if we come back that way - the cabin can't be more than a couple of miles from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, we will definitely book again.

Judy was a perfect, friendly host. She made us feel extremely welcome. The cabin was absolutely perfect for the children, scenery was beautiful (saw a moose on the first night), and the listing was accurate in description. We enjoyed our time and hope to come back. This is a great place to stay! Right on a kid friendly lake, close to RMNP, Winding River ranch and Grand Lake. This place could not be more child friendly. Thank you so much Judy!
