We had a great stay-- comfortable beds, great pillows, awesome breakfast and conversation-- all in a wonderful location-- so pretty! One of my best airbnb experiences by far!
Host was inviting and helpful. Their lodge is cozy and located in a beautiful area. However, it is tiny and you should expect a lot of interaction with the host if you are at the house. The pond they are on is stocked and is great for fishing.
Wendell and Judy were wonderful hosts! From the warm hug when we first met, to the quaint and homey feel of the cabin, and the fabulous breakfast made for us the next morning. ..our trip would not have been as wonderful if it wasn't for their hospitality and beautiful piece of property they own in Grand Lake! They were so accommodating, especially the little things like reservations for dinner and helping me map out my ride home. We will definitely be back to stay with Judy and Wendell again! Beds were so comfortable and cabin was neat and clean! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your slice of heaven And taking such good care of us!
My buddy and I were in from out of town to do a backpacking trip through the Never Summer Mountains and wanted a place to recharge after our flights and before marching off into the woods. This was a wonderful place to do that! Judy and Wendell were very nice and requested that we let them know that we made it out safely; they offered their canoe and we lazily paddled the length of the lake; and Wendell's waffles got us off to a great start in the morning.
Judy and Wendell were as warm and inviting as I could of hoped for. Their home was all that I anticipated, I enjoyed the deck looking across the water to the mtns. and they make a mean waffle for breakfast. Highly recommend.
Although our stay with Judy and Wendell was short, we enjoyed our time! The weather was gloomy and raining, so we weren't able to utilize most of the amenities that were excited about. However, we did see some great wildlife and the location was very quaint. Judy and Wendell were great hosts; Wendell accompanied my husband on an early morning car ride to find moose and also made us a delicious waffle breakfast!
Absolutely awesome. Wendell and Judy were the perfect hosts. Accommodating. Kind. The perfect amount of interaction and time alone with the family. Waffles a la Wendel,l a great way to start the day. Gonna make and for a next visit for sure
