This cozy apartment recently renovated is a studio located right in the heart of Venice city centre,
The main room has a double bed, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen, a microwave is also available in case you want to have a quick meal. The bathroom comes with shower. The studio has air conditioning (which you will appreciate a lot during the hot summer months!) and heating system.
It is located on on the ground floor, but thanks for the two windows there is plenty of sunshine coming in! The bathroom has also an openable window.Towels and linen are provided.
The apartment face a picturesque canal, so you can just look out of the window and remember you are in the beautiful Venice!
You will be staying in the neighbor of Dorsoduro, it is a great location as it in the middle of Venice, you can walk everywhere and visit all the most famous spot, such as Saint Mark's square, Rialto's bridge and many more. However, don't forget Venice's best sightseeing are often hidden among its canals and narrov streets (called "Calle"), so get lost it's usually the best way to visit the city! If you wish to visit the surrounding isles just get on the nearest vaporetto's stop (the water bus) and try to dedicate at least one day to fully discover Murano, Burano, etc.
If you fancy a night out or just have a drink head to one of the many bars located ont the square of Santa Margherita. It's only 5 minutes away by foot from the apartment (If you really want to feel like a local ask for a Spritz, the delicious cocktail is the symbol of the city!).
However, if you prefer relaxing at home and having a good sleep after the long day, don't worry as the area is really quite and you will not be disturbed.
Whichever way you are arriving to Venice, plain , train or car, you will not be far from the apartment! It is very close both to Piazzale Roma (where the shuttle from the airport arrives) and Santa Lucia train station.
My shop is in Piazzale Roma, so in case you arrive before the check in time (14.00) you can leave the luggage with me and start exploring the city! If nobody has stayed in the apartment the day before you arrival, you may check in from the morning.
Would you like to know more about the apartment and this beautiful city? Send me a message with your inquiry and I will be happy to answer you as soon as possible!
I want you feel as more confortable as possible, therefore I ask all my guest to keep the apartment nice and clean (I trust your common sense and respect!). Guests are not allowed to smoke.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Cristina's cosy studio in Venice. It's a small space, yes, but definitely cosy
We thought the apartment was an excellent value! The location was good in that it was really close to the bus to the airport and the train station but also close enough to tourist sights and restaurants. It is on the ground floor, but this was ok because the windows face an enclosed courtyard and the canal and not the street. There were some minor inconveniences - the shower did not drain well and there were inexplicable fruit flies. On the whole, we were very happy with the apartment.
Note - Cristina's instructions regarding how to get to the apartment were perfect! Trust them! Google maps had no idea where anything was in Venice, and the instructions made our arrival pretty easy, even though we arrived in the dark.
About the host: Cristina was very forthcoming, she sent us a good guide explaining how to get the key and how to get to the apartment and even offered us to leave our stuff in her shop in case we arrive too early and the room isn't ready yet.
About the apartment: The apartment is located on the ground floor and therefore humid. Additionally, the room is rather cold (especially during the winter months) and the heating didn't help much. The walls between the apartments seem to be paper thin and at least one neighbor has a big sound system but questionable taste for music. We did not like the old and loud mattress. Also, cleanliness could be improved.
We had the most incredible experience in Venice made all the more special by staying in Cristina's lovely apartment. It is located perfectly in a quiet neighbourhood so convenient to your arrival in Paris. Only a short stroll from the bus station at Piazzale Roma. It is so close to everything and set beside a lovely canal you really have a wonderful Venetian experience. Cristina and her family were so helpful and made our stay one we will remember forever. Thank you! :)
Appartement très agréable, situé dans un quartier animé et central . Les attentions de Cristina sont appréciables . Bon plan assuré..Nous reviendrons!
Venice is a wonder at this time of the year - we strongly recommend this experience! The time of the Carnival it was and we were very happy. The studio is very nice and charming, furnished with taste and cozy. It has everything that one needs - everything to make a light dish to eat, a bed for two, a heater, and a small bathroom. It is romantically located under a bridge right on one of the hundreds channels in Venice and the view from the kitchenette window makes your day! It is authentic and nice to come back after a long day of walking. In general - a cozy, nicely furnished, convenient and comfortable studio in a quieter part of the old town, close to everything and peaceful at the same time. Would go there again!
