The Space

------PLEASE NOTE The apartment is located in the neighbor of Dorsoduro, not Castello as the description says.
CHECK IN is at 14.00, if you arrive before that time and the apartment was free the day before you may enter before this time.---

This cozy apartment recently renovated is a studio located right in the heart of Venice city centre,
The main room has a double bed, a dining table and a fully equipped kitchen, a microwave is also available in case you want to have a quick meal. The bathroom comes with shower. The studio has air conditioning (which you will appreciate a lot during the hot summer months!) and heating system.
It is located on on the ground floor, but thanks for the two windows there is plenty of sunshine coming in! The bathroom has also an openable window.Towels and linen are provided.
The apartment face a picturesque canal, so you can just look out of the window and remember you are in the beautiful Venice!

You will be staying in the neighbor of Dorsoduro, it is a great location as it in the middle of Venice, you can walk everywhere and visit all the most famous spot, such as Saint Mark's square, Rialto's bridge and many more. However, don't forget Venice's best sightseeing are often hidden among its canals and narrov streets (called "Calle"), so get lost it's usually the best way to visit the city! If you wish to visit the surrounding isles just get on the nearest vaporetto's stop (the water bus) and try to dedicate at least one day to fully discover Murano, Burano, etc.
If you fancy a night out or just have a drink head to one of the many bars located ont the square of Santa Margherita. It's only 5 minutes away by foot from the apartment (If you really want to feel like a local ask for a Spritz, the delicious cocktail is the symbol of the city!).
However, if you prefer relaxing at home and having a good sleep after the long day, don't worry as the area is really quite and you will not be disturbed.

Whichever way you are arriving to Venice, plain , train or car, you will not be far from the apartment! It is very close both to Piazzale Roma (where the shuttle from the airport arrives) and Santa Lucia train station.

My shop is in Piazzale Roma, so in case you arrive before the check in time (14.00) you can leave the luggage with me and start exploring the city! If nobody has stayed in the apartment the day before you arrival, you may check in from the morning.

  • We stayed in Cristinas apartment for 5 days, we had a lovely stay. The apartment is in a perfect location for easily getting around the island both by boat and foot. The apartment it's self is basic but has everything you need, small little kitchen abd little bathroom. The bed Is comfortable and the studio is warm. I would defiantly stay here again and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay on a budget.

  • It's a very simple studio apartment, but it was perfect for our visit. There's a supermarket (Coop) by the train station, thus only a 7 minute walk from the apartment: for us since the USD to Euro conversion was low, so we only spent 50 Euros on food at Coop for our 4.5 days! It's also a great location: if you get lost (easy to do in Venice, even for Italians), all you have to do is follow the signs back to the train station or Piazzale Roma. On the day we left, there was a train strike: we didn't have internet access, but the staff at Cristina's shop was very helpful in finding other options (even though they weren't necessary in the end). It was clean, comfy and warm with plenty of extra blankets and comforters for the chilly nights. DO visit the pastry shop just 20m away (Tonolo): delicious goodies to be had!

  • We had a great stay in Venice! Cristina is very attentive and it's easy to communicate with her.

Her apartment is warm, clean and we appreciated the towels provided. The location is excellent and close to everything (restaurants, bar, pastry, vaporetto...)

Hope we can go back soon and recommend it to anyone who would like to discover Venice.

  • Very nice and well-situated flat, close to the Piazzale Roma (buses coming from the airport) and the Gran Canale!

  • Cristina's apartment is a good option for a place to stay in Venice-- a city notorious for its lack of affordable lodging. Her apartment was a bargain and very centrally located. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in early December. The place is cute though it has seen some wear since the photos were taken-- the paint was peeling and it was a bit chilly and damp. There is also no internet connection, but you can use the wifi at the cafe next door if you spend 5 euro per person. We cooked in the kitchen several times, which gave us the chance to use venice's great produce market and stick to our budget. The apartment is close to the University Ca'Foscari, which means there are many affordable cafes, bars and restaurants in the area catering to students. We loved eating at Vinus Venezia, a friendly little restaurant right around the corner from Cristina's place. Cristina was a very accommodating host, answering emails promptly and providing clear directions for reaching the apartment (helpful in such a maze-like city!). I would definitely recommend this place to a friend-- you cannot beat the price/location!

  • Cristina's apartment was the perfect pitstop for exploring the true Venice. While the must-see sites (Piazza San Marco, Rialto etc.) are easy to walk to, the area around the flat feels authentic with many great restaurants, bars, shops and hidden treasures. The apartment itself was a cosy haven when the rains flooded the canals. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone heading to Venice.

  • It was great staying at Cristina's Cosy studio - everything went smoothly: picking up the keys with map, finding the studio, and when leaving, dropping off the keys and leaving suitcases for keeps at Cristina's tabaccheria, conveniently located at Piazzale Roma . Her studio is in a great location for wherever you want to go and a fabulous bakery (Tonolo) and bar for afternoon drink and snacks (Café Noir) next door. I will definitely stay again at Cristina's Cosy studio.

  • Cristina's little apartment was perfect for us. The location is ideal, minutes from the Rialto bridge, less to the piazza Roma and the train station. We cooked many good meals from the Rialto Market. We loved our stay in Venice, thank you Cristina.
