Visit my beautifully restored old country home. Hardwood floors, natural woodwork, pocket doors and custom kitchen filled with all the necessities awaits you and your guests. Perfect for Scrapbooking or Quilters Retreats, Pinterest Parties, etc...
Welcome to my place. When we first got the home, it had not been lived in for several months. We spent nearly a year working on the restoration and listed it for sale for almost another year. We were deciding what to do with the home when my sister-in-law Cheryl had been telling me about scrapbooking retreat houses. I spent time researching it and talking to others only to learn that there were quilting retreat houses as well. I’d get to keep the beautiful home that I had updated and restored, and also share it with others. I will admit that even though this is not what I thought I was going to do with this property, I am so glad that I did.
I started in December of 2012 looking into and attaining the zoning and conditional use permits, On July 16th I had the final meeting with the Health Department, and I officially opened for business!
This house seems to let people relax and enjoy themselves. As one friend said when she stopped by for a visit, “These walls don’t have ears, so there is no fear of them talking back!”
I am so excited to have you come visit my house and enjoy a day in the country just relaxing or working on your favorite craft. I can’t wait for you to visit again, and again, and again.
