Tracy met us with a warm welcome. Her house is an old beautiful place which she shares gratefully.
Gray Mine is a bit sleepy, but there are plenty of sights to see, and its a great relaxing vacation spot.
Thank you for a great stay!
The host was extremely accommodating and nice, particularly since we arrived 2 h after we were supposed to. The place was spotless. We were there for a wedding and the location was perfect for it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely equipped. All in all it was the ideal place for our weekend.
Tracy was available whenever I needed something but neither she nor her husband was intrusive.
My husband and I had a very nice stay at Caswell Arms Inn in Gray, ME. Both Tracey and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Tracey even sent me off with a baggie full of fresh Maine blueberries!! The apartment itself was great -- two BD, full kitchen, living room, bathroom. Much of it looked to have been newly renovated and it was squeaky clean. The road outside is a bit noisy, but it wasn't so bad with the windows closed. Should we find ourselves in central ME again, we'd definitely return!
A lovely place in Gray! I was staying for an event at the Portland Expo, and the ~20 minute drive each morning and evening was short and simple. Tracy made getting in and out of the apartment very easy and comfortable, and was flexible with my arrival time.
The apartment is quite large, lovely, and clearly entirely newly renovated. The space is professionally arranged, with all the information you might need prepared carefully by the hosts. I was alone, but there was room for many more! The only minor issue I encountered was that the Queen room sits out close to the nearby highway and got a little noisy overnight. Closing some of the windows helped, and I noticed the twin room was more quiet.
Overall a lovely place for a short or extended stay with quick access to Portland!
This is a lovely and spacious 2 bedroom apartment very close to Portland. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well appointed and and everything was spotless. The hosts were very nice although we did not have alot of interaction with them mostly because everything we needed was available. I will return,
My husband John and I are both design professionals, although I am enjoying a second career in journalism these days. Several years ago, we relocated from New Jersey to Maine for what I refer to as 'a kinder gentler place'. Since relocating, we have been on a continual quest to restore and renovate our circa 1790 home. We are happy to share our second floor apartment with discerning guests who not only appreciate all that 'vacationland' has to offer, but who value and respect historic character and charm as well
