The space

In the heart of Vesterbro: cafes, bars, shops, cool cats & the best bakery in town just around the corner. Woodburning stove, balcony with sun from 1pm to 8pm, mid-century modern furniture style, lots of light and a quiet street. I love my place and I think you will, too :)

Located in the heart of Vesterbro, and now with a new balcony (1.9.2015) to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine on! (Sorry, haven't photographed the balcony yet - will get around to it!!)

In contrast to the lively neighbourhood, my street is completely tranquil and quiet. Lots of light and space.

It's a 3 1/2 room apartment, containing:

One bedroom with double bed (140cm wide).

Spacious and cosy double living room with sofa, huge flatscreen, reading corner and small work desk - both rooms flooded with sunlight all afternoon and evening. There is room for two adults sleeping together, and one more person on the couch (comfy cushions).

Balcony to the street from the small living room.

Modern bathroom with shower, ventilation and floor heating. Hairdryer etc available.

Kitchen with all amenities, modern oven/stove, washing machine. A lovely small dining room next to it. Also a hallway with room for coats & shoes as you enter the apartment.

The style is generally retro/mid-century modern; 50's-60's teak combined with modern pieces and paintings.

On cool evenings, you can kindle a fire in the woodburning stove. On warm afternoons, you can relax in the green courtyard or on the balcony. There's all you need in terms of Wifi, hi-fi, tv, books and birds chirping outside.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor. Stairs are broad and easy, but there is no elevator.

Two minutes walk to Istedgade, and from there 10 minutes stroll to Copenhagen Central Station. Buses and s-trains 5 minutes away (no metro). Bicycle rental on the corner - best way to enjoy Copenhagen :)

I charge no cleaning fee, thus I expect guests to leave the house in the same condition they received it :).

I enjoy life. I love it, on a daily basis, actually :). I am an assistant professor at Copenhagen Business School, working with topics such as strategy, sustainability and time. This means I do really nerdy stuff, based on reading obscure articles and thinking (sometimes) big…
