Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, the best place to take a rest at an altitude of 700 meters. A real countryside tour with nothing but mountains and clouds, a few private houses and highland vegetable gardens! But where there's so much for someone!! The space
A house 700 meters above sea level. It is the first house under the mountain, which boasts tranquility, seclusion, clear air, and starry nights. It's a great place to do nothing because there's almost nothing there, just a great place to roll around, read books, listen to elf music, and take a nap. Please note that a place that is good for others is not necessarily good for me. If you like nature, music, books, and pictures in the mountains that are not decorated unlike general pensions, you are welcome!
*We set the basic accommodation fee + cleaning fee in the hope that you will take a real rest, not a tiring trip that comes and goes in a day. It's a loss if you stay for a day. Even for 2 nights or more, a special discount rate applies, and the longer the day, the higher the discount rate.
*In winter, the road may be slippery due to snow or ice. In particular, two-wheeled cars without winter equipment should be more careful, and if it is difficult to go up to the accommodation, you should park in the vacant lot at 86-7 Bineso-gol-gil or around it and walk up about 400 meters. I hope you will be happy about that ^^. Also, if you have winter gear, please take care of it in advance, and it would be better to check with the host about the road conditions one or two hours before arriving at the accommodation.
*Doenjang, Gochujang, Sesame oil, basic seasoning (salt sugar, soy sauce, edible pepper, etc.) and various kitchen utensils are provided. Of course, there are towels (at least 2 sheets per night for 2 people), dryer, and wine opener. There is a fireplace for the living room and terrace, so if you want, please apply for firewood (1 box 13,000 won) in advance before entering. And only those who applied for fireplace firewood can bring sweet potatoes or chestnuts to roast! If you want to come by train, you have to come to Dunnae Station between Hoengseo and Pyeongchang and take a taxi to the accommodation.Buses are better than trains. The little-known trail of Baekdeoksan is 5 minutes away, and the old Sungwoo Resort Welly Wheelie Park is 20 minutes away. There is a mart Haneul Mart, Hagwang Mart, which has almost everything except Hoengseong Hanwang Mart, which has almost everything except the Hoengseong Hanwoo (there are mart Haehwang Mart, which has almost everything except Hoengseong Hanwoo!) and Pyeongchang 5-day market (5 days, 10 days, 10 days) and Dunnae 5-day market (5 days, 10 days, 10 days) are each 20 to 30 minutes away. If you want to stop at a restaurant on the way here, as soon as you come out of Saemal's IC, Hanwoo Town on the roadside and the makkuksu place behind it are good. The house in the inner town of Anheung, Kangrim Sundae-guk, is so good that there are people who deliberately visit from Seoul.
If you come out from Dunnae IC, I recommend Dunnae Makguksu (very famous place that also sells dumplings and dumpling soup), and Taegi Makguksu.
Banglim Makguksu, on the other side of the way, was introduced by Heo Youngman's Sikgaek, and Ijo Makguksu in Pyeongchang-eup is also good. If you want to try something more special, I recommend there maeuntang at Bangrim Intersection.
* Places to visit nearby: Baekryong Cave, which you're suggested to explore once before you die, and Donggang rafting, Chiljokryeong trekking course, and Odaesan Woljeongsa Temple are less than an hour away. Closer (10 minutes) there is Haneulmaru Goat Ranch (entrance fee 2,000 won), which is good for walking with a 1-2 hour course, and Pyeongchang Farm (7,000 won per person), a trout-handling experience fishing ground. Thunder Valley, Wondang Valley, Geumdang Valley. There are many small and secret valleys such as Changsu-dong Valley in the upper valley, which is smaller but shaded and very clean of water. Jinbu Makdong Valley, Bongpyeong Bargain Valley, Labor Valley, and Mitan Yongsu Gol Valley are quite famous for their watery valleys, so they are popular in Piseochul. In that regard, I recommend the small valley in our neighborhood called Vinesogol and the valley in the Cheongtaesan Natural Recreation Forest (also great for a short forest bathing trek!).
