Interaction with guests

We really love to talk with the guests and we are happy when they ask many questions about the city. We always try to be very present to help or give advice and to make guests feels Like their own home.Of course this may happen sometimes that me and my son are both busy with work and therefore not present at home. In that case don't worry we always leave our phone number and many written notices/tips

Gio was very kind and helpful and this was a nice and affordable home to stay at during our time in Rome. The bus was easy to access from the home and get to main parts of the city. I recommend staying here.

Gio is the coolest and best-styled person iyou'll ever meet in Rome (you would not believe he is almost 70 :D). He knows everything about the area and can point you to the coolest gelaterias, restaurants and shops. His house is right next to a park and very close to great food joints. You can easily walk to all the ancient sights in 40 minutes. The place is full of cool art and you have a balcony next to a garden with exotic birds. Gio is also a great photographer and took our pictures for free! Thanks for everything, Gio! It was a pleasure!

Gio's apartment was great! Good location in a quite, locals and safe neighborhood, close to several bus/tram stops to get you to all the main attractions!! The apartment itself is just as pictured and described, nice neat and clean... filled with Gio's beautiful photography!! We were unable to actually meet Gio since he was prepping for a show and out of town (we ended up having the entire place to ourselves) but we met his son Stefano who was very attentive, we had no problem getting in touch and communicating. I'd recommend anyone to stay!!

Giorgio was wonderful. He was open and very willing to share his unlimited knowledge of Rome and Italy. As a single woman i felt extremely comfortable staying at his place. There was lots of privacy if i wanted it. As it turned out, i was not feeling good one of the days and he offered to bring soup or whatever i needed. Thank you, Giorgio for welcoming me to Italy !!

Giorgio welcomed us with Italian pizza with shredded potato topping! That was a new one for us and it was delicious. He said it is a very common topping in Rome. He was extremely helpful with directions to public transportation and suggestions to wonderful piazzas and local cafes. The neighborhood is great; a very pleasant walk to the subway and on the way you can get your typical Italian breakfast - coffee and a sweet roll. At first we thought maybe we were too far from the city center but we soon found out it was a relief to get away from the noise of the touristy areas and walk through real Roman neighborhoods where the locals lived. We walked late at night and felt very safe. The apartment was very roomy with closet storage and the balcony was a pleasure to have coffee in the morning (Giorgio provides an electric tea kettle to boil water and make tea or instant coffee right there in the room. This is nice if you really need that coffee to get you going in the morning.) Also, there is a great ceiling fan to circulate the air. The bathroom is private, with a bidet, but Americans might have a challenge getting their morning shower without spraying the entire bathroom (no shower curtain)! It was a great Roman experience! (Loved the quirky elevator to get your luggage to the second floor.)
