Overall I had a very good experience staying at Vic's place. I needed a place for a few nights while working out of SFO and it worked out great. It's location was within 10 minutes walk of the Millbrae BART station and a very nice location I found to go for a run during my off times. I had a few questions regarding my stay and my experience was that Vic always responded in a very timely manner. That was a plus! The house was also clean and then beds were comfortable.
Vic is an entrepreneur himself and know exactly how a hacker home should be. Stayed here for over a month and loved it. Location is awesome, 5-7 minutes walk from BART and Caltrain, house is huge with plenty of space where you can work comfortably (feels like a co-working space sometimes). I will highly recommend this place to any entrepreneur or just about anyone (most of the people I met here were startup entrepreneurs/hackers) and appreciate the hospitality and care Vic showed during my stay here.
The apartment is very comfortable, clean and convenient in location. We definitely enjoyed our time there, and would come back next time when we stay at the Bay Area!
I really enjoyed the place. I was out for Makerfaire 2013, and was hoping to stay near the area. I did a quick search on Airbnb and HackerHome popped up. I thought wow this is where I should stay. I met several wonderful people, and many were building Makerspaces like me. We had some great conversations, and made profesional connections from the experience.
