The Grand is as centrally located as you will find downtown. Next door to the Austin Convention Center, with balcony looking over it all, this multi-level space has 4 queen beds and a full kitchen.

The space

If you are looking for a downtown vacation rental with a touch of luxury, welcome to the Austin Grand. With space for up to 10 individuals, the Austin Grand is the perfect place to stay whether you are attending a conference or looking for a place to sleep after a night of entertainment.

Situated one block from the Austin Convention Center (with a balcony view of the facility), two blocks from the world famous 6th Street and the Warehouse District, and a handful of blocks from every other downtown attraction including hundreds of restaurants, movie theaters, bars, nightclubs, lounges, and live music venues, the location is hard to beat. During events, these units are coveted by everybody in the city, including locals. The town lake walking/jogging trail is just a few blocks away, there is a yoga studio just across the street, Starbucks is 200 feet from the front door, and arrangements can be made for a temporary gym membership two blocks away during your visit, if desired.

This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit features accommodations for up to 10 guests (four queen beds and a queen-sized air mattress), central air and heat, a full sized stackable washer and dryer, a small balcony, free cable television, free wireless internet access, wood burning fireplace, and plush furnishings. With upgraded counter tops, renovated kitchen and bathrooms, flat screen televisions mounted on the walls, and a fantastic stereo in the living room, every detail has been considered to make your stay a pleasant one.

A full kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all of the tools you need to cook your favorite meals will be included, however there are so many dining options within a few blocks, you may never use it. A few nearby options include: Fleming's Steakhouse, Fogo de Chao, Piranha Sushi, Vince Young Steakhouse, Backspace, PF Changs, 200 Congress, La Condessa, Lamberts, Swift's Attic, Champions Sports Bar, Parkside, Eddie V's, The Onion, Swift's Attic, La Condessa, Trace, Lambert's, and many more...

A wet bar comes stocked with glassware, a blender, and all of the bar tools you will need to fix your favorite cocktails while visiting. Just add liquor and mixers and you are all set. The closest liquor store is 2 blocks away.

You will also receive access to free private gated parking for one car (plus a motorcycle or scooter), if you need it. Since you can walk to everything, you might consider taking the Airport Flyer from Austin Bergstrom International for $1 per person. It picks up and drops off in front of the building every 30 minutes, and will save you the hassle and expense of a rental car or taxi.

Guests will have access to the condo complex, the condo, the secured parking area, the pool area, and the best of downtown Austin.

Interaction with guests

I like to interact with my guests as much or as little as they would like. I am always available (24/7) to answer questions via email, text, or phone, and I enjoy meeting many of my guests. However, I am also very respectful, and allow my guests to determine how much interaction they would like to have. Ever since I setup automatic door locks, there are some guests that I have not ever met in person. Whatever works best for the guest, works fine for me.

Other things to note

If you are interested in hosting an even larger group, please note that I own and manage a large number of units in the same building complex, as well as some nearby houses. I am happy to host large groups for weddings, convention center trade shows, and other events in Austin.

Check-in is 3pm. Check-out is 11am. These times can be flexible (when possible), but we will need to communicate in advance so we can plan accordingly.

All guests must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the condominium complex pertaining to noise, trash, and smoking violations, etc. Any fines incurred will be the responsibility of the tenant. Be advised that noise violations start at $250 per occurrence. These fines can be assessed by the HOA without warning, however, we have never heard of a warning not being issued by a neighbor in advance. If somebody asks you to keep it down, please immediately accommodate them. If a fine is assessed, it will be deducted from your security deposit.

Please do not smoke or leave trash outside of the unit in the common areas. Please do not smoke in the unit or an additional cleaning fee will be charged. If you choose to use the alarm system, please be aware that any false alarms that are created (sending for police and the fire department), will be a assessed per occurrence.

Although we are animal lovers, pets are strictly prohibited. Please respect this rule or risk forfeiting the security deposit and any fees for damage.

A welcome email will be provided after your reservation is confirmed with all of the details for your stay, including your unique automatic door lock codes and assigned parking. We will also provide suggestions for local attractions, restaurants, bars, and much more.

The loft was in a great location in downtown Austin and a close drive to other parts of Austin. We had about 8 women staying and the loft was a perfect size. The loft is advertised to be able to fit 10 people and there were two air mattress available, in my opinion, it maybe a little tight with 10 people. But it was very clean and Ryan was very easy to communicate with! Totally recommend.

Just finished a long weekend in Austin and can't say enough great things about the city and the people! The house location is perfect for going out on 6th street and is completely walkable from Rainey street. We rented Bcycle bikes ( highly recommend- a station is right outside the complex and all throughout the city - $12 for 24 hrs) for our day trip to Barton Springs and a quick $6 Uber ride to South Congress for brunch. A Trader Joe's is less than a mile away for stocking up on snacks and drinks. We didn't spend much time in the house but it comfortably sleeps 10. And getting ready with two bathrooms was not a problem! Would highly recommend this for any group of people wanting to be central located to all the downtown action! Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed in this condo the last weekend of July for my bachelorette weekend of 8 women and it was absolutely perfect for us. The two bathrooms are big enough to accommodate at least 2 women doing makeup at the same time and the other anywhere from 2-4 getting ready at the same time (I know bc we did it). The place is walking distance to some of the best hangouts and a simple lyft or uber ride to everything else. The couches are small but surprisingly comfortable to sit and especially sleep (again, I know bc I slept on the couch at least once). I will definitely be back again and rent from Ryan again. The pool on the premises is small and located in building 2 but it is definitely a must-do as you will find that there are other bachelor and bachelorette groups hanging around the pool during the day. A great location to relax and socialize. If you want to get out during the day, would recommend the ATX tubing excursion. You get picked up just two blocks from the complex and it is an all-day activity. Bring water and food to snack on. Some of our friends got really dehydrated as you are out in the direct sun. If you are a group of women and want to experience something different, I would recommend VAMPS pole dancing. Truly amazing and fun experience with lots of laughs. If you would like to experience where the locals hang, I would recommend the White Horse. Great atmosphere with good southern men who ask you to dance and are patient in teaching you how to two-step. The best part is that around the corner are a few food trucks you will definitely want to eat from. I would also recommend visiting Rain on 4th on Thursday nights. It is a gay bar BUT so worth the experience. Austin is definitely a place you will not be disappointed in visiting and staying in Ryan's condo was an added PLUS.

Ryan was an excellent host. Right off the bat I had to make reservation adjustments and he was very willing to work with me. Communication was excellent. The apartment is right next to the convention center and 2 blocks away from the infamous 6th street. A perfect location for a conference. When we arrived, everything was clean and as expected. We could not have asked for a better and more convenient space. I would recommend staying here!

This place is in such a great location! We walked to 6th street and rainy street with no problem! And barely a 5 minute drive across the river to South Congress. We easily fit our group of 7. Great value for the location, would highly recommend. Plenty of towels were provided, and even shampoo and conditioner! A lot of fun places to go and places to eat close by.
