This camper is super warm! It has a heater that can make it like a sauna, so don't worry about being cold!
If you are looking for a private spot with easy access to Mississippi, the MAX and the Alberta Arts district, were your peeps!
Clean space with full kitchen, bathroom, shower and wonderful yard with chickens and privacy.
The back yard is a wonderful space you will share with us that has a garden, chickens, a patio with a chiminea, hammock, grill for you to use and our 2 cats and 4 dogs (see pictures above). We have a double lot with plenty of space for you to spread out!
Your private entrance is through the side gate. Open the door to a unique and affordable lodging which is pure Portland. Located just a few blocks from the oldest rose garden park in the Rose city, it is a great springboard to fun and frolic in Portland. The #4 bus will take you wherever you want to go. We are a ten minute walk to the MAX line.
There is plentiful street parking right in front of the house and we can also work something out if you are interested in renting our car. We have space to stow your bike safe and secure inside. If you don't have bikes, but would like to ride, we can also offer ours and we have a trailer if you have children.
Laundry can be available for an extra fee if you are staying longer term.
Smoking is not allowed on our property. If you are a smoker, you could still stay with us, but please message us so we can have a conversation about it.
The camper sleeps two very comfortably in a double sized bed and could house two other persons if you are willing to take a more cozy approach, but we don't recommend it for long stays.
This is a very unique place to stay in a wonderful location. Although it may not appeal to the majority it is a great find for those who are adventurous and flexible.
If you just need a simple lodging to "crash" while you expore Portland then this is the place for you.
This is a camper...things are sometimes finicky, need adjustment and might take a little more attention than in a house, but it's worth it!
The microwave does not work. Sorry.
This is just a step above camping.
If you have dogs, we are open to kind ones, but we ask that they not be left in the camper when you are not there without a crate (which we could provide, depending on the size of your dog.
Guests will have access to the backyard and the trailer. Guests are not invited to use the house unless previously agreed upon.
We love our guests!! We do regular outdoor dinner and movie nights on the weekends and we would love to have you, but don't feel obligated.

Lovely little camper and yard! Very private, cozy warm, I would definately recommend! Great location. Downtown is 5 minute drive! I felt safe and was able to relax. Maggie my pup loved the chickens....she thinks they are feathered canines.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the camper during a weekend in February. It was cold and rainy outside, but the heater worked great, and we were nice and toasty. Super comfy bed, cute living space, clean bathroom and kitchen - we could have easily spent more time here. Leah and Jen were excellent hosts. I managed to lock myself out of the bathroom (only I would do this), but Leah didn't blink an eye and gave us the rundown of the neighborhood as she unscrewed the doorknob. I would highly recommend staying here.
My husband and I visited Portland on a weekend when the city was mostly shut down due to winter weather. This might have been a recipe for disaster had we not had such wonderful hosts. Leah and Jen were absolutely wonderful--warm, welcoming and generous while also tactfully respecting our privacy. They went above our expectations to make sure we were still able to have an enjoyable trip, even though most of the city's businesses were shut down. An added bonus is they live in a great neighborhood; it's quiet and residential but we could walk to several great places and a connecting bus line runs right in front of their house. Overall, highly recommended!
Great little spot! Easy access, a mini-kitchen, and a super comfy bed.
Thank you for a cozy place to stay during our brief visit to Portland.
I've stayed in a few campers in AirBnB but this was definitely the nicest! Very clean and comforatble. Leah and Jen were great hosts; very friendly and flexible. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Leah and Jen's trailer was perfect for our one night stay. Communication was a breeze with Leah and the trailer was very comfortable. The heater kept it nice and toasty for the cool evening. We had our dog, Dazzie with us who enjoyed running around the backyard for a bit before bed time and socializing the the other pups that lived there. All and all a very nice stay and we would definitely go back!
Lovely little place. Warm and comfortable as long as youre happy in a small space. Very hospitible hosts and a great location.
Money well spent.
My boyfriend Max and I had a fantastic time staying with Leah and Jen. Their camper was nice and clean, close to transit, and all around fun. Super friendly hosts who are there to help, give advice on local spots, and are respectful of your privacy. As an added bonus we found the wifi signal to be really good too. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. A perfectly Portland spot complete with mohawk-ed dogs, lion-maned cats, and roosters (who were all luckily not allowed in the camper so allergies were fine)!
Leah and Jen are wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and laid-back. The camper is small but very nice and great alternative to expensive, boring hotel rooms. We could use the garden. Our 1.5-year old daughter had a great time playing with their son, cats, and dogs. She was said that we left after only too days. The camper is located in a nice neighborhood with the MAX train, a park with playground and a natural food store. Ideal place for kids. We can highly recommend it and would always come back.
