Obwohl Pepe in Sevilla wohnt, hat es mit der Schlüsselübergabe,
bestens geklappt. Das App. ist einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sogar die Erfüllung eines Sonderwunsches war möglich. Ich bedanke mich bei Pepe.
you won't have any problems if you arrive during work hours. The location is good. acceptable for a short term stay for long term stay you have better options. our communication problem was simple I don't use phone since international calls cost too much. I send emails or airbnb messages. And he insisted on communicated on talking on the phone. he is right about being unlucky, on my first day keys weren't where he said they would be. On my 2 day there was a fire in the building, we had to evacuate. The day before last the electricity was gone -a problem that is sometimes caused by the fridge. I can right longer but right now I am in Istanbul, there is a civil war going on outside and I don't really care about an old trip to Tenerife.
Arriving during work hours is in my house rules, and I always tell to my guests.
It seems that she doesn't know about how public phones work (to avoid international calls). I insisted in talking by phone because it's the fastest way to get in touch (and much more if you're in a hurry, as she always seemed to be).
The keys were at the place, she wasn't at the right time. She get the keys in 30 minutes after contacting me.
None of the other guest had EVER a problem with the electricity, keys or the fridge. I seriously think it was her fault, but I couldn't check. She was a problem from the beginning till the end.
Please, don't use the protests in your country as a excuse (it's not a declared civil war yet). Some members of my family were EXECUTED in the Spanish civil war, so please, don't mess with that.
I'm so sorry about the people in your country, but i'm talking about you. If you don't care... I really care about. Talking about civil war is too serious to use it as a shield for your attitude. It's not my intention to bother you but I needed to tell.
I wish you good luck in life and your work (hope you don't get arrested because you show your picture in Airbnb, but I saw your photos in (website hidden), (website hidden) and edebiyathabe with a simple search, maybe you would like to check your privacy settings if you're soooo worried about privacy) and I hope everything will go better in your country soon.
We could not meet Pepe because he was in Seville. He was very communicative before the stay. The studio was in good conditions. The studio is calm although it is situated in the center of Puerto in a Building with elevator on the 7th floor. You do not need a car cause the bus station is not far away. Pepe was a recommended host.
The apartment is in really good location, it's calm, but the old town is near. I think Puerto de la Cruz is the best place to live in Tenerife.
Pepe was a great host (granted we never got to meet him, he lives in Seville), everything was taken care of via his friend Mikel. The apartment is great, it looks just like the pictures. Very clean, everything you need is there - dishes, towels, sheets, blankets. Oven works well, refrigerator is very cold, shower has great pressure, and washing machine is good. The view from the 7th floor is AMAZING! You can see the ocean, city center, and on a clear day, Teide. Take a bus to get around - the station is right around the corner. Shop at the Supercor for groceries and stop in next door at El Secreto for a "Saperoco" or Dorada. If you rent a car, beware parking is difficult but not impossible. Visit Playa Jardin and Lago Martianez for tanning and swimming, at night try the clubs Azucar, Limbo and Blancobar! Puerto Cruz is an amazing city, Pepe is a gracious and attentive host - you will not be let down! Next time we visit Tenerife we will stay with Pepe!!
For a full account of what to do in Tenerife look up "Tenerife Magazine" on (website hidden) or the Blogspot blog, "Traveling in the Moment," both have activities and events that highlight Puerto Cruz and Tenerife!
Super little studio flat. Comfortable, light and quiet; very central to the beach and town centre. We really enjoyed our stay there. Puerto is a lovely town and a great starting point for exploring this impressive island. If you enjoy walking can really recommend Pas a Pas walking tours. Thanks Pepe for hosting us so well - we hope to return one day.
Hübsches Appartement, zentral gelegen, schöne Aussicht. Allerdings ein wenig laut, da in der Nähe die zentrale Busstation ist - andererseits ist man somit auch komplett ohne Auto mobil ;)
Really nice apartment of a really nice and helpful guy in a really wonderful city/town. Just perfect!
We probably stay there next time, too.
Pepe's apartament was perfect! Very close to the Atlantic ocean and the beach (for me it was a very important point for me). Actually amazing views from the balcony to Teide volcano and ocean. The apartament are really close to the bus station and supermarket. And there were a nice karaoke bar on the next street.
So its the best place to stay in Puerto!
Thanx Pepe and his father!
