Enjoy a memorable visit when you stay in this unique place. This home is decorated and set up to accommodate you and your pet family. Located off U.S.119 between Kingdom Come State Park and Bad Branch Falls. It’s also the perfect location for family reunions. The old rustic store is beside of it and available to rent on Airbnb.

The space
This is a very old farmhouse that has been renovated but still has the old charm. The walls are crooked and the floors squeak. The upstairs use to be the post office that my grandmother opened in 1940. Under all the carpet was the original floors we left un-touched. The shorter ceiling’s downstairs use to be a basement where they stored stuff before my grandparents made it an apartment. This house has lots of steps and host animals. So please remember that when booking.

Guest access
All the spaces are accessible. The lock box is on the side of the rail going down steps. There is a laundry room and shower located in the outdoor well house. We call it the outhouse. The main entrance is down the steps but the upstairs still has doors that can be used. This is not a place that you would want to stay if you have trouble going up and down stairs.

Other things to note
The water comes from an old well that has a water softener. While it’s safe to bathe in we don’t recommend drinking it because of the taste. We provide drinking and cooking water in the refrigerator.

Hi, I grew up in partridge working with my parents in the store. My parents have both passed and I inherited the property. I don’t live in the area but enjoy visiting especially during the fall. I love the colors of the mtns and the memories it holds.
