Interaction with Guests
Determined by the guest and our commitments.
I can provide information about restaurants, services, and things to do in the city and surrounding area.
It is in a typical older (post-WWII) suburban neighborhood. I appreciate the safety, greenness, and close location of services.
City busses are available, but they are not very convenient because they run 1-2 time/hour. Exact change is required. Weekly and monthly passes are available. Garage parking is available. I can sometimes provide transportation to/from the airport.
Other Things to Note
Things like salt and pepper, condiments, and herbs and spices are available for people who wish to cook - there is no point in buying packages that will only be used once or twice. Please ask if there is something you need.
1. No smoking indoors.
2. No food in the bedrooms.
3. Respect other guests.
4. No pets.
Great stress free experience. Nice Host, nice cats and great house. Emilie even let me keep my car in the garage something I don't get at home. Safe area with a lot of amenities and close to the City and Airport. Nice house with very clean kitchen and bathroom and use of the living room. Quiet peaceful neighborhood.
I found Emilie welcoming and accommodating host. The description of her home and location is pretty accurate; it clean and well-kept. The location can easily be found, and accessible (by car) to everything else; department stores, bank, post office, etc... and there's a grocery stores within walking distance, which offers hot cook meals. I had a pleasant stay with Emilie and her 2 adorable cats namely Webster and Cornelius. Thank you Emilie.
The description is accurate. The house is easily accessible from the interstate, just a few blocks off from arterial roads in a nice neighborhood with a grocery store, restaurants and drug store nearby. Took me about 20 minutes to get there from downtown Milwaukee.
Emilie is a lovely, highly intelligent lady who keeps a beautiful home and is very knowledgeable about the area. She provided written instructions with everything you'd need to know about the house and suggestions about the area. The room is a nice size for one person and lined with bookcases. There is a chair, comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and small table plus a luggage rack. There is plenty of closet space if you want to hang your clothes up . The heat vent for the room is on the same side as the bed, so be careful to not let the bedclothes cover the vent for optimal heating/cooling. Bathroom is just across the hall. The cats are friendly too!
Emilie was great - she picked me up and helped me get groceries my first night there which was awesome of her. She's very welcoming and her house his nice, quite and clean.
Also, I am not really a cat guy normally but her cats are pretty chill.
Would definitely recommend staying there.
Emilie was the friendliest most helpful host I could of asked for. She helped wherever and whenever she could. When I needed groceries I was given a ride to the store to pick up some shopping. I couldn't recommend her more. She does everything to make sure that you feel comfortable in her home which I always will.
Emilie is a very welcoming, gracious, and accommodating hostess. She is respectful of one's belongings, and the rooms and house are well maintained. Emilie is attentive to needs and concerns, and will answer all questions to the best of her ability.
I can recommend to anyone thinking about staying with her that you will not be disappointed.
This place is clean and well kept. There are grocery stores, local bars, and a Chinese restaurant within walking distance. Finally, Emilie herself is a very accommodating and genuine host. I highly recommend this place.
