Welcome to our humble abode!
We are located in the heart of West L.A. on the cozy side street known as 'little' Culver off the corner of Culver Blvd and Inglewood Blvd. just minutes from LAX.
Our central location makes our "neighborhood" extensive and accessible either by bike or on foot, and includes Culver City, Marina Del Rey and Venice Beach.
Just a short bus or car ride away are Santa Monica, as well as the South Bay cities of Manhattan and Hermosa Beach, famous for their volleyball and surfing.
For longer excursions to for example Downtown L.A. or the OC, we are minutes from the 405 freeway, not to mention reliable MTA, Culver City and Big Blue Bus service across the street.
Active folks will love the bike path and a separate jogging path across the street as well as the Ballona Creek bike path going all the way up and down the coast, only a couple hundred yards away.
There is plenty of shopping as well as a some Zagat rated restaurants within walking distance and for much more selection along with two movie theaters, the Marina Villa Marketplace is only a short bike ride away.

I am originally from Colombia although my upbringing as the son of a U.S diplomat saw me travel quite extensively in my youth. It was during these travels that I met my wife in Helsinki, Finland back in 1995. Today, I am the director of Casa Libre; a youth shelter near downtown L.A.
My wife is an author and humanitarian, volunteering her legal background expertise to Casa Libre and the numerous organizations that our shelter works with when she isn't working on the finishing touches for her upcoming novel.
We are both very down to earth, friendly and respectful individuals. We are LGBT and 420 friendly (as with most of California :) ) We ask the same in return.
Please feel free to e-mail us directly with any more specific questions you may have. I have lived in the area for over a decade and can provide quite a bit of insight. We look forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
Federico and Sofi
Other Things to Note
We currently have a little rescue kitten that we are taking care of while looking for a home for him but he is not allowed in the guest room.
Sofi and Federico were wonderful hosts with an awesome place. My group of four stayed one night and everybody had an overall great experience.
I only managed to meet Sofi that day. She was very friendly and helped my group feel right at home.
The shared space (with a pool table!), rooms, and bathrooms were all very clean. Sofi had prepared two rooms with clean sheets and towels. She even having a few bottles of water and a map ready for us to take out for trip!
The location was also very nice. Ten minutes away from Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach was perfect for my weekend trip.
This place was great - really clean and colourful. The hosts recommended a great bar where we ended up spending most of the night. No complaints!
A one night stay which was all perfect. The room was quite large with king bed and nice desk and nice touches like chocolate and water in the fridge. Their cat is super cool! Feserico and his partner were very friendly to chat to. Would definitely stay again to be close to lax.
Frederico's place was great! A nice big bed, towel, and cold water were waiting for me at check-in, which itself was smooth and painless. Exactly as advertised, and well worth it.
I arrived at LAX late at night. Federico and Sofi stayed up to greet us. They were very friendly. We had our own private room (with a mini fridge) and bathroom (not connected). Freshly washed bath towels. It was a short taxi drive from the airport. I can't remember exactly but about 20-25 bucks. It was just what I needed for a good nights sleep.
One of the most beautiful airbnb appartments i have been so far. Cozy room, nice people, everything was fine
Hi there! If I had to describe myself, I would say worldly and down-to-earth. I have traveled extensively throughout my life and know what it takes to be both a good guest and a good host. Now that I get to play the role of the host however, I hope that I can pass on some of the hospitality that was provided to me during my travels onto those that share a little time in our home. We look forward to meeting you! Cheers!
