I am originally from Colombia although my upbringing as the son of a U.S diplomat saw me travel quite extensively in my youth. It was during these travels that I met my wife in Helsinki, Finland back in 1995. Today, I am the director of Casa Libre; a youth shelter near downtown L.A.
My wife is an author and humanitarian, volunteering her legal background expertise to Casa Libre and the numerous organizations that our shelter works with when she isn't working on the finishing touches for her upcoming novel.
We are both very down to earth, friendly and respectful individuals. We are LGBT and 420 friendly (as with most of California :) ) We ask the same in return.
We also kindly ask you to please respect the check in and check out times, since we have them for a reason and it is not fun for us having to decline requests for early check ins. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
Please feel free to e-mail us directly with any more specific questions you may have. I have lived in the area for over a decade and can provide quite a bit of insight. We look forward to hearing from you. Cheers!

Other Things to Note
We currently have a little rescue kitten that we are taking care of while looking for a home for him but he is not allowed in the guest room.
Hi there! If I had to describe myself, I would say worldly and down-to-earth. I have traveled extensively throughout my life and know what it takes to be both a good guest and a good host. Now that I get to play the role of the host however, I hope that I can pass on some of the hospitality that was provided to me during my travels onto those that share a little time in our home. We look forward to meeting you! Cheers!
