I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. The space for guests in a small suite unto itself. There was nice kitchenette with a fridge to store some food. The sitting area was also great, could use it to work out as well as spend a little time at nights working. Stayed there a few times and all of them have been awesome.
Jennifer's home is amazing, its style a beautiful reflection of her own. Jennifer was gracious with my very different-from-hers schedule (jet lag so up fairly late, then home around 10pm after caring for an injured relative). The downstairs "micro kitchen" (good-sized mini-fridge, tea kettle, microwave, sink) and sitting room/office also helped me to lessen the impact of my differing hours by giving me a great place to have morning tea/coffee, a late-night snack, and catch up on email. It's really more of a "suite" of rooms downstairs. The bed IS comfy, very! The view is gorgeous, the varying colors of green leafiness greeting me daily made it a serene retreat after a hectic day.
Jennifer's attention to detail extended to having everything I needed to enjoy my 5-night stay (including dairy-free coffee creamer, my fave: coconut milk!). A gracious hostess, a beautiful and comfortable home. Thank you Jennifer!
This is the second time I've had the pleasure of leaving a review for Jennifer! Jennifer is such a cool host, is super caring and really goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. She put out a really comfy bathrobe in case I was cold and these really cool Art Deco french press coffee mugs. I love Jennifer's decor sense and only wish we could have the chance to grab din. Hopefully on my next visit!
Jennifer was an awesome host! Her home is lovely and truly bucolic. The space is decorated with fabulous designer pieces that reflect Jennifer's careful decorative eye and it feels like you are in a woodsy modern sanctuary. I had my own space with bathroom and kitchen area and sitting room. Jennifer was very gracious and also accommodated me on short notice.
I had a great 1-night stay at Jennifer's home. It was spacious and comfortable. It was a wonderful retreat, just a little off the highway, amongst beautiful homes and nature, with the little towns of the Mainline all nearby. Jennifer was a lovely host and so very helpful. A latte and granola b'fast before I headed off to my meetings was a great way to start the day.
Our host was gracious and accommodating, lovely in every regard.
About the Host, Jennifer
From Philadelphia, Pa - lived part time in NYC which feels like my second home. I have worked in fashion for 20 years, owned a upscale woman's boutique, wardrobed several celebrities for personal/ public appearances, music videos, record covers, and worked on a few movies. I closed my retail store in 2009 due to a struggling economy and opened a small fashion and lifestyle company specializing in PR, marketing, business development, in addition to property management, marketing, development, interior design, staging, and will be adding real estate agent to the list soon.
I am a home owner of a beautiful mid century modern home, which is my sanctuary. I love to entertain and have dinner parties. My friends think I am a great cook and have been urging me to do cooking events and a cookbook. My family calls me "the funky Martha Stewart" . I am very conscious, clean, friendly, respectful, helpful...and nice.
I am a mother of a wonderful teenager who lives in the home as well, which is the most important part of my life! She will be taking care of the dishes, recycling and compost when she is not studying, reading, at an after school program, practicing piano or glued to the iPhone or computer! (I hide them often)
I love celebrating holidays, and I celebrate both Jewish and Christian holidays and any hallmark ones too! More excuse to decorate, cook and entertain!
Recently I have been doing some traveling. Last year I lived/cruised on a sailboat in the British Virgin Islands for 10 days and received an ASA sailing certificate. During the summer I traveled around Morocco, which was absolutely life changing.
