About this listing
This apartment is extremely cosy, quiet and inspiring, with all services nearby, as well as a marvellous parc. Thousands of books and cd's make it very special.
This apartment is my place of living. It is very cosy and convenient, on the first floor of an old fashioned building with high ceilings and wooden floors.
Quiet street. The living-room and the bedroom are together on the back side, very quiet, with a large comfortable bed (1m60). There is a small terrace on the back side as well.
In case of long-term stay (one month and more), an additional large room is available as a study.
High speed wifi, no TV, but plenty of books (some in english), comic strips and cds. Towels and sheets are provided.
100 meters from a large public park very nice to jog or walk.
200 meters from the bus stop with direct connections (bus and tram) to the center (20 min), to Ixelles, or to the European district. Shops and restaurants nearby, very close grocery (50 meters) open till 9pm. Public bikes nearby.
Connections to the airport and train stations are easy.If you drive; parking is easy and free along the park (100 meters).
You will find plenty of guides and tips about Brussels on the coffee table.

All my books are in this apartment which is my writing (website hidden) is very central and you can visit many other places from here with one-day train trips to: Antwerp, Bruges, Gand, Ostende, Leuven, Liège, Namur. The appartment is a 15 minutes tram ride to North-station.
We expect you to announce your estimated arrival and departure time.
The apartment is non-smoking.
The place was wonderful! Elisa showed us around the flat when we arrived and gave us a lot of help in navigating the city. She provided some maps and written guides to good restaurants and interesting sites. One of the maps was already a bit beaten up so we left a newer version for the next guest. ;)
The rooms were surprisingly spacious and the kitchen was stocked with several basic supplies (tea, sugar, spices, oil, salt, rice, couscous, noodles etc.). Shampoo, towels and toilet paper were also provided although there was no indication to that on the website, so that was a positive surprise.
The shelves are jam-packed with interesting books, comics and even some music CDs and movie DVDs, which had we had more time there we would have read some of. (there is no TV so if you want to watch one of the movies you might want to bring a laptop; but there is a sound system for the music)
Elisa's apartment is perfect for a couple (or small family). It has an quirky, almost bohemian feel. The checking in/out process could not have been easier. Everything worked in apartment. You will need a few visits to get through all the books! The neighbourhood is perfect for those that want to have easy access by tram or bus to all the central Brussels sites, but then relax in an aspiring and relatively quiet area of Brussels. There a lovely park at the end of the road, several bars/restaurants in easy walking distance and a new bakery and cheese shop opening soon(?) just 50m away. There is local Art Deco architecture trail locally. Love it!
Very good experience in this apartment. Cozy, convenient, beautiful park just 100m away. I can jog every morning in the park. Very good taste in music and books. Definitely I will recommend.
