We spent here a wonderful time.
We came to see Bologna but the sightseeing become just an extra to our stay with Massimo in his house among the hills.
Birds singing in the morning, picturesque views around, calmness and the autumn colours of the neighbouring vinyard, all outside.
Inside, the house was very comfortable and of high standard and lovely decorated.
Massimo was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. He told us some secrets of Italian cuisine and on the table there was always something special for us. And many many more. We felt more than at home.
Massimo's hospitality will be remembered the most.
Busy town was just 15 minutes away by bus, plus 10 min. walk to the bus stop.
Massimo's place is one of a kind, and you'll find that his description is only on the surface. Once you're inside, though, you'll find it even more charming. Chances are you are visiting Bologna for a day or two, but you might find staying longer than one night will be more comfortable, even only to talk to him about music, cooking, or how he furnish and decorate his home!
Lovely place overlooking the hills of Bologna. And lovely food, prepared by a true expert and artist. Much recommended.
Massimo was a wonderful host, we arrived late and he had a magnificent meal awaiting us. It was delightful to spend time with Massimo and his two beautiful daughters. The apartment was lovely and it felt like home. Massimo also very kindly gave us a guided tour of the lovely city of Bologna, an unexpected but very much appreciated treat. Thank you Massimo for a very memorable time in Bologna.
You will find Massimo's apartment at the very end of the road on top of the hill. The building was formerly a convent and has been renovated into several apartments as has been the adjacent church. It is a lovely tranquil spot and a short drive from the centre of Bologna.
We had a comfortable stay here and enjoyed dining with Massimo's delightful daughters.
Beautiful place in the stunning hills near Bologna.
Very big room in a gorgeous appartement.
Massimo is a great host and makes delicious dishes.
We also had the pleasure of meeting his two lovely daughters.
Thanks for a marvellous time in your home Massimo !!!!!
Massimo was very generous! He picked us up from the train station and brought us back for a day trip to venice. The food he cooked was great and the company of his daughters was a great addition. The room was very comfortable, clean and cosy. I would be happy to recommend it and stay again. We also showed us a panoramic view of Bologna.
Massimo was a friendly helpful host. He even took us to the walled city parking on his way to work which was a big help. We took him up on his offer to cook us dinner which was nice. We struck a very hot day so a fan in the bedroom would have helped. Good value for money.
Massimo was a great host; he was very thoughtful in everything that he did for us. He prepared a fabulous Italian dinner at only 15 euros per person; it was well worth it. He should have his own restaurant… . The place was nice, large and very clean. The road to his place is very steep and narrow so drive with caution. We enjoyed our stay very much, we hope to return someday. Thank you so much Massimo for everything.. Especially for taking time out to show us all the hidden gems of Bologna …. very much appreciated
