Welcome to Atlanta! You are going to love your stay at my sunny, cheerful bungalow in a superb location.
The first floor is approximately 1000 square feet, with two bedrooms and one bathroom, and an open concept kitchen, dining, and living room. The house has beautiful natural light, hardwood floors, and slate tile throughout! The kitchen has granite countertops, stove/ oven, dishwasher, microwave, and a platinum finish refrigerator, and all the basic cooking supplies. Fresh coffee and creamer and coffee maker provided! The home has fast Wifi internet, streaming netflix, blueray and DVD player, and a 40" flatscreen tv. Every bedroom closet has room for you to unpack and get comfortable, and there is a washer/dryer as well.
The second floor is a real treat! About 800 square feet of spacious master bedroom and en suite bathroom, with a separate jacuzzi tub and standing shower. There is even a quiet porch accessible by french doors off the master, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful neighborhood and a view of the backyard. The backyard has a dining area for 5, and lounge seating for 4, with a grill and beautiful fencing throughout. A special treat in the springtime is to sit out there with your coffee in the morning, where you can see a dozen different kinds of birds and smell the jasmine and roses!
Old Fourth Ward is a historic neighborhood rich in history and diversity, with a vibrant present; it is rapidly becoming the 'it' neighborhood for young families and professionals.
* If you want history, my home is ~.5 mile from Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birth home, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the Martin Luther King Museum-- all a must-see in Atlanta!
* If you are looking to explore Atlanta's best neighborhoods, you'll find my home is a hub, and Downtown, Midtown, Virginia Highlands, Cabbagetown, and Inman Park are all 1-2 miles away in each direction.
* If you want nature, you can just walk 2.5 blocks to Freedom Parkway trail, a multi-use green space with miles of biking and walking trails, which connects many parks and neighborhoods, and .75 miles from the new Fourth Ward Historic Park.
* If you want night life, you are just 2.5 blocks from Highland Bakery, Zuma Sushi, Across the Street Mexican Restaurant, P'Cheen, and Jack's Wings and Pizza, and about 1/2 mile from trendy bars on Edgewood, and Inman Park restaurants and shopping.
* And if you want to stay in and cook, Whole Foods, Kroger, and Publix are all under 1 mile away.
I can accommodate anyone from singles to groups of 6.
I also offer single room rental, on a separate listing. I have a dog and a cat, which are removed for your stay. It's $10 / night for a pet.

We had a great time. Alexandra had fresh flowers and sodas for us when we arrived. We were in town for a buying trip and it was very convenient to where we needed to be. We were chilly one evening and couldn't get the furnace to respond but after calling Alexandra, we got the issue corrected and were comfortable the rest of the week. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Alexandra! You have wonderful place.
This was our family's first time to use Airbnb and we were pleased with our experience. The house on Randolph Street is located in a perfect spot to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, the Atlanta belt line, the Martin Luther King historical site, and lots of other Atlanta landmarks. The house was perfect for our Christmas gathering. We walked to Christmas eve services at the neighborhood church and returned to the house for dinner and gift exchange. Alexandra was a delight to work with during the planning and stay!
We, 3 work colleagues, stayed in this wonderful house for a week while attending a conference at the Congress Centre (~30 to 40 minutes walk). We support the previous reviews… well located, comfortable, clean and great internet. We could not think of a better place to stay, absolutely perfect!
Very well located home away from home, truly sunny, and in a convenient neighborhood to go downtown. Nicely decorated, it feels like you are staying at a super clean and organized friend's house. Comfy beds, excellent shower, great towels and linens. The internet worked wonderfully well. Very quiet at night, and in the morning. I stayed there for 6 nights in November. You will not want to leave!
Alexandra's home is lovely and she is the perfect AirBNB host. The house is exactly as it is pictured. The neighborhood is central to all of Atlanta with easy freeway access. There are great restaurants just moments away. This is an all around terrific place.
The house was exactly as described in the listing. The only exception was instead or a white picket fence, there was a brown, more-sturdy fence.
This two-story bungalow was perfect for us. A master bedroom/bath upstairs, two bedrooms, one bathroom downstairs, comfortable leather couch, flat-screen TV with cable-TV (with HBO), Internet/WiFi, full kitchen with dishwasher, clothing washers and dryers. The dining room and table itself was beautifully decorated - simple, yet elegant at the same time.
Our host was gracious and very helpful when we needed information about the area or how to work something technical inside the home.
Everything that we needed to do and see was only a quick car ride away from our location. Right around the block on Highland Avenue are a few quick eats, yogurt shop and a cleaners.
If you're going to need to stay in Atlanta (or nearby), I would recommend staying at this location.
My colleagues and I from Native Marketing had a business meeting in town and stayed in this Alexandra's wonderful home. Clean, great layout and she even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy when we arrived.
Beautiful home 1 miles from downtown. Truly feels like an oasis in the backyard. Slept like a baby in the comfy beds.
This home is located on a nice street with moderate (but quiet) traffic. Within 5 minutes of the belt line, a scenic path where you can walk, bike, skate or run. The houses in this neighborhood are beautiful and the home itself is decorated tastefully with all the accommodations we could ask for. We had a bit of trouble with using the provided keys to get into the front door, but Alexandra showed up within 5 minutes of me talking to her on the phone to open the door for us and show us around (she had made several new sets of keys but some of them didnt fit). She was responsive to inquiries and very helpful before and during our stay. She even left us a bottle of wine and a nice note to welcome us. I would definitely stay here again and suggest this place to any friends visiting the Atlanta area!
So this was my very first time trying airbnb and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The bungalow is perfect for a family of 3 ( 2 adults and a toddler). The upstairs master bedroom is spacious and wonderfully decorated. It had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer + dryer, cable, HBO, internet, netflix, and a back yard. For families - it's walking distance from the old fourth ward park - possibly the biggest playground I have ever seen.
Plain and simple:
Awesome location ( restaurants, trails, and parks )
Alexandra was helpful but not imposing - and this is definitely my preferred place to rent when I come to Atlanta!
