Seneca Sol is an exciting new glampground. We have five lodging options on our property. Four safari tents and one tipi. Cherry is a spacious and furnished safari tent with a private balcony, and is nestled in a secluded forest setting. The site offers a lounge area, modern bath house, hiking trail, commercial gas grill, nightly campfire, and concierge service. Just minutes from Seneca Lake wineries, waterfalls, dining, and fun!

The space

THE SAFARI TENT - Your safari tent is custom built on an elevated wood platform in a secluded forest setting. Within the weather resistant tent, amenities include a queen bed (bedding as seen in picture), comfortable furniture, and a writing desk. Your tent is warmly lit with rechargeable lanterns that house a USB to charge your devices.

Guest access

THE LOUNGE - Our site includes a covered lounge area where you will check-in. It is also where a complimentary continental breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am. Drinking water, hot water kettle, access to a small refrigerator, commercial grill and information to area attractions are in the lounge for guests.
THE BATH HOUSE - Our modern bath house is a short walk from all the sites. Here you'll find spacious private showers, private bathrooms with flushing toilets, and a communal sink area with electric outlets and ample space to make yourself ready for the day. We provide shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, and laundered face/hand/body towels for your convenience.
CAMPFIRE - Each night around 7:30 pm we light a communal campfire for our guests. We leave a reasonable stack of firewood so guests can enjoy the fire well into the night.
WALKING TRAIL - On site is a beautiful wooded trail that takes ten to fifteen minutes to walk. It's a loop so you don't get lost. A great way to destress and stretch your legs after a long drive.

Everything was exactly as advertised! Seneca sol is a perfect destination for a few day getaway. Would highly recommend to people who enjoy the outdoors, but don't want to camp off the grid.

This is awesome for people that want to camp but don't want to "rough it". The tent was huge and we could walk around comfortably. The deck was a nice added touch. There were no issues with bugs or mosquitoes in our tent and the tent was immaculate. The toilets and bathhouse were super clean and it was very much like a hotel. The fire was lit nightly and we were able to sit out and enjoy it as long as we wanted. The host was amazing and offered ideas on things to do/eat in the area. He was always available if we needed something and made us feel like we were all friends. We will definitely be coming back! And shout out to their lovely dog Bandit - she was so nice and friendly!!

We had a lovely one-night stay in the Cherry tent and really enjoyed the night - I wish we could have stayed longer! The set-up for "glamping" is great and I'd highly recommend it. I am already thinking of scheduling a stay there next summer, it really was a highlight of our time in the Finger Lakes. The owners were so helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat, and made us feel so very welcome. We can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay! Spacious, comfortable accommodations. The deck on the back of the tent was a nice touch. The bathhouse, which is a short walk away, was clean and felt comparable to a hotel. We also appreciated the fire pit, walking trail, and complimentary breakfast. Cameron was a friendly host and provided recommendations for wineries and restaurants. Overall, we were very happy with our first glamping experience!

We loved the tents. They were spacious and very comfortable. The shower and bath area was also clean and felt like a luxury after a day outside. The property has a beautiful little trail which was also very nice to take a walk around.

I stayed one night with my college-aged daughter for a mini-break. We came specifically for Watkins Glen gorge trail and it is phenomenal, though our top pleasure from the trip was our spacious, luxurious safari tent! We loved sitting on the balcony just talking and laying in the amazingly comfortable bed reading. We were so sad when 11am came and we had to check out. We have already planned a return trip with good friends. I was wary of a communal fire pit, but the mother and son we met from NJ were wicked funny, smart and so warm. The son gave me a hug in the morning, which I think was just lovely. Though Cameron's wife had just had a baby days before, he was generous with his time giving us insider advice on the top places to visit. I particularly adored his tip to visit Caywood Point.

Cameron and I have been in the hospitality business for over 10 years. We live on the east side of Seneca Lake on 10 acres of land and have decided to share this very special place with you in the form of a glamping campsite. Our site is just minutes from the famed Seneca Lake Wine Trail. If wine tasting isn't enough we would be happy to recommend other activities based upon your own interests.
