Our guests will enjoy the private use of a fully furnished Victorian flat in one of the hottest neighborhoods in the city - NOPA. Built in the late 1800’s, this Victorian has all of its old world charm; including, 11 foot ceilings, 9 foot pocket doors, grand molding, and beautiful hardwood floors throughout – it’s truly a unique San Francisco building and the historic aspects have been honed throughout. This neighborhood is called NOPA, which stands for North of Panhandle Park. The Panhandle park feeds right into Golden Gate Park, which is in easy walking distance. NOPA is quickly becoming one of the hottest neighborhoods in San Francisco and it features a major development project called the Divisidero corridor, which has attracted many of the new and highly reviewed restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shops and boutiques. This area is also a hot bed for technology professionals since may of the major Silicon Valley and San Francisco based high tech companies provide mass transportation options right from Divisidero Street. NOPA is also centrally located so there's easy walking access to other interesting and fun neighborhoods, like; Haight Ashbury, Pacific Heights, Cole Valley, Lower Haight, Filmore, and Alamo Square. NOPA is also right by the University of San Francisco (USF). For your convenience, Lucky’s Supermarket, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods are also within walking distance.
Since NOPA is the home to USF, there's great access to public transpertation to all points in the City. The 5 bus-line is right on our street and it runs from downtown to the beach on 5 minute intervals. Within 3 blocks from the house you can catch the 24 or the 43 - they both run North and South or you can catch the 21 or 31, which run East to West. You can see a full schedule at: (website hidden)
This is a family friendly house. We will be happy to put up security gates for the stairs or provide extra gates upon your request

We had a great stay at Mindi's flat in NOPA. The place is beautiful and the amenities were great! I would recommend Mindi's place to friends looking to stay in San Francisco and would definitely go back myself. Thanks Mindi!
We had a wonderful time at Mindi's NOPA flat. We were 6 adults and we loved her place. The flat was amazing in condition and its facilities. The location is great, accessible in SF's areas within minutes. We had a SUV where the parking in SF is always a challenge and this is one less headache to find overnight parking! Mindi and her mom is lovely and very helpful with tips to get around and instructions to use the facilities at her flat. Mindi was very responsive to questions that we had and proved that she was only a phone call or text message away! All and all we impress with the flat, location, the host and we will definitely come back to the flat when we back to SF.
We had a fantastic stay in SF -- the house is beautifully restored and thoughtfully appointed with everything you'll need during your stay. Mindi was a lovely host -- warm and helpful. We'd love to return, maybe during warmer weather so we can take advantage of the great backyard space!
We had a really comfortable and fun stay in Mindi's lovely apartment. It is spacious, super clean, and stylish. The neighborhood is great and the location provides easy access to all areas of the city. We kept a car in the garage with no problem and were happy to avoid street parking! Mindi is a fantastic host. She is communicative, helpful and available! Would definitely stay there again.
Mindi's flat was perfect for our family of two adults and four children. Everything was exactly as described. We'd stay here again if we ever come back to San Francisco.
We had a great time in the beautiful flat! It's beautifully decorated, clean and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Mindi was so gracious, very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I wish we could have stayed longer!!
Great visit, great location. Nice trendy comfortable place. Recommended if you don't want to stay in the city heart. A great alternative to a hotel. Mindi was great to deal with and very helpful.
We had such a great week in this lovely apartment! Mindi is wonderful and made herself available via text and phone should anything go wrong (nothing did though). Apartment is in a great location, surrounded by neighborhood restaurants and cafés and a short walk from golden gate park. It is also walking distance to many other neighborhoods such as Hayes Valley, Pacific Heights, The Haight and Richmond. Apartment itself was great to spend time in. Features include a semi-private backyard, laundry machines and garage. Highly recommended!
Beautiful apartment in a terrific neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable, and the host is terrific. The second bedroom is quite small, so if two people are sharing, they have to really like each other. Living room couch is perfectly fine for sleeping, though. Much better than most hid-a-beds. We would definitely return.
A fantastic apartment, beautifully decorated with a state of the art kitchen, washing machine and drier, two flat screen TVs and lightning fast WiFi. It is conveniently located on the No 5 bus route which goes downtown to Market Street where you can transfer to the street cars that run to Fisherman's Wharf or jump off and get in the Cable Car. The supermarket is 15 minutes walk away, there is a brilliant Mexican restaurant just along the street and the Haight Ashbury district is a stroll away. Mindi is wonderful, she'll meet you at the apartment and is only ever a text away.
