  • We had such a relaxing stay here! The bed is the most comfortable and it helped to have Netflix! Much needed naps happened in between the wedding we came for and a quick family visit. Linda was so kind to show us around this perfect little gem. I highly recommend staying here for the peacefulness and simplicity. The hot tub was a plus!

  • Linda's place was great for us - a private little studio with a secluded hot tub! The location is on the edge of Santa Rosa but feels almost rural - lots of chickens in the neighborhood. It's convenient to Sebastopol, the coast, Healdsburg and so many wineries. We would stay here again.

  • We loved the location of Treerose Cottage - very quiet and private on a country road but quite accessible to town. There is a very nice kitchen (one in which you could actually prepare meals) and a lovely comfortable bed. The bathroom is adequate though there are 2 steps up to enter - a bit of a concern during the night. Linda was a thoughtful host and provided us with coffee and fresh fruit from her garden. We would recommend the Treerose Cottage to anyone in the Santa Rosa/Sebastapol area.

  • Linda was a very gracious host. She greeted us upon arrival and took us for a tour of her lovely vegetable garden and farm, leaving us with a bounty of fresh eggs and veggies as a welcome gift! The apartment was very cozy, and the kitchen had all the supplies we needed to fix ourselves meals on our own. The location was convenient, about 20 minutes to nearby kayaking and hiking, which was ideal for us on our weekend trip. If you're an animal lover, Linda's cottage also has full access to friendly animals. We really loved playing with Brutus the dog and Cheesecake the cat. Thanks Linda!

  • So cozy and peaceful! Linda's property is wonderful and there are many fruit plants such as grapes, raspberries, fig tree, apple, etc that we picked from. She suggested us the wine rail to go on and we did just that and it was fabulous! We also loved her dog!

  • Linda's cottage was adorable. The property is peaceful and the garden area is lovely. Linda was generous with the fruits in her garden, letting us pick some to take with us. The cottage is in the middle of 2 towns so it was easy to get places when we wanted to step out into the world.

  • The cottage is super cute and immaculate. The bed is comfy. There are ponies to pet and chickens to lay you sparkling fresh eggs for breakfast.

And a hot tub to soak away the city stress.

And a garden! Full of every kind of fruit! Linda even gave me a bunch of fruit and veggies to take home. I made the most delicious salad with her lemon cucumbers and grapes. GRAPES!

You will want to move in. Or be adopted. A perfect weekend away.

  • Linda's cottage is lovely. We were greeted with a tour of the property showing our bedroom, kitchen, bathroom as well as the fully private outdoor hot tub area. Linda took the time to show me all the controls as well as how to cover the hot tub. The hot tub includes stairs that make it really easy to get in and out, no slipping. We were provided with everything we needed, from soap to lots of clean towels to plateware. We were even greeted one morning to a surprise gift of fresh apples! We had a great time motorcycling around the area to Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sebastapol, and Bodega Bay. It was great to come back to our little retreat house and relax in the hot tub under the stars. A beautiful and very friendly outdoor calico kitty cat also came to say hi to us and sit with us on the outdoor patio. We look forward to returning back!

  • Linda's farm was the perfect spot for my 2 1/2 year old son and I to experience rural Santa Rosa. The location was perfect just a short drive to the the Russian River and also very close to downtown Santa Rosa by car. Linda has a beautiful garden (my son especially loved picking and eating raspberries) that is also home to a curious black bunny, horses and chickens. We took advantage of the wonderful hot tub for evening soaks and enjoyed fresh eggs every AM provided by Linda's chickens. This is a sweet spot if you are in SR to experience the outdoors. The living space is very well appointed for a small space. Linda sent us off with a deliscious jar of homemade raspberry peach jam and a warm farewell. Thank you so much Linda Strummer and I will see you next time we visit SR.
