Gohar was great ! Really nice to talk to her and stay in her home. The room is on the top floor, ensuite, great views, light, airy with a small kitchen. Everything needed. The room is about a 10 minute walk to the high street - Overall great experience and I hope to return :) !Thanks Gohar ! :)
Extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs, facilities were perfect, couldn't ask for more.
Gohar was an incredibly warm and welcoming host. I stayed in her studio flat for three months and felt at home the entire time. The space itself looks exactly as listed, it has all been very recently redone and was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Headington is just outside of downtown Oxford and was a quick 10 minute bike ride each day, there was also a bus stop right out front that will take you there as well. The town of Headington itself is also very lovely and has everything you will need within short walking distance. I cannot recommend staying here enough, Gohar embodies everything that makes this style of accommodation such a wonderful alternative to hotels and other short lets.
A beautiful unit in a convenient part of Oxford and a lovely host. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Yes, the host made us feel very welcome, and the little apartment was even better than I had expected. There is a lovely double bed and also a pull-out double sofa bed and plenty of space to put things. The windows provide a nice cross breeze and everything is clean, bright and attractive.
We had a fabulous stay, the appartment was very clean, bright and cosy with plenty of fresh air as it was quite a hot week !
Gohar was friendly and was able to answer our endless questions, about places to eat and shop and how to access Oxford. If we are ever down Oxford way again we will certainly not hesitate to stay at Gohar, and even use Airbnb again. :-)
Gohar was very hospitable and the maisonette was charming, airy and just as described. Bus services are very convenient and there is nice parkland very close by, with restaurants and shops a few minutes away. Recommended for a stay in Headington area of Oxford!
About the Host, Gohar
I am an outgoing person very much involved in accademic life in Oxford. I am interested in peoples' life and all cultures, reading books, gardening and walking, shows, plays, moves and good food.
I think time and life is too precious to be spent on trivial things and there are too many beautiful things in this world and in life in general.
I love to travel and see the world. I have travelled and stayed with Air B&B hosts and experienced the local life of people very closely. I enjoyed their hospitality and helfulness so much that I decided to become one myself.
