  • Virginia is very nice, the room is very comfortable and clean.
Room and bath only the rest of the apartment is private.
Neighborhood is Pigneto lots of shops close by and unique places to eat. A mix of ages and culture and a feeling of American punk.
I got comfortable but I was lucky I ask many people for help. One particular one became a friend, not the host.

  • Virginia's home is absolutely amazing. Very easy to get to using the tram from the main station. Loved to see another side of Rome thanks to the location of Virginia's home. Found everything to be great and no complains at all.

  • Virginia is an absolutely reliable hostess. Her flat is spacious and the room feels good. That woman has style. So I enjoyed staying at her home. For me it was also a great opportunity to explore the Pigneto-neighbourhood, which is one of the most interesting ones in Rome, off the beaten track you can find here the street where "Roma città aperta" was shot, as well as a lot of allusions to one of the greatest Italians, Pier Paolo Pasolini who also used the Pigneto as set. The fascinating thing about the Pigneto is that it hasn´t changed that much. So it is open for investigation. Then you will find there also the hottest Tango-Club in Town the Hoola Hoop Club, la Pulperia.

  • This is most definitely not worth 55euro/night. Compared to the last place we stayed in St Paulo Basilica (which is closer to central and with our own bathroom) for 50euro a night, this room was quite disappointing. The bed is simply a very skinny mattress on some slats on the floor. After waking up in the morning after the first night, both our backs were sore from pretty much sleeping on the floor. The apartment also let's a lot of street noise in. No air conditioning or fan so we were quite hot as well- not a comfortable stay at all. Compared to other places we have used on Air bnb in Rome, this was not good value for money in terms of cleanliness, location and comfort.

  • Nice room located very near a tram stop. Comfortable room with all the basic amenities including kitchen and very clean apartment. Would recommend for a trip to Rome but it is worth noting that it is not in the centre of Rome. Apart from that a def recommendation and do check out the Snack Bar around the corner. Fabulous coffee at amazing prices!

  • Virginia is really nice host :) Even i arrived very late, she still welcome me really nice and kind. Everything is perfect in Virginia's place, from her place to bus station only 3 mins, and take the bus to city center station only 15 mins. It's very convenient~ If I go to Rome next time, definitely will live in Virginia's place again~

  • Virginia was a great hostess and had a nice place. Her dog was also such a friendly little guy. She is extremely close to the tram and bus stops which take you directly into the city center. However, if you decide to walk, it will take about 45 minutes.

  • Virginia's place is really nice, the apartment is homely and comfortable. She makes you feel at ease in the place. The room is spacious and bright. And there's a lovely balcony to enjoy the sunshine. The wifi was temperamental when I stayed there, I couldn't connect to a network inside the apartment, only on the balcony. Also worth knowing the area (Presentina) is a 10min bus/tram ride away from the city. She offers a lovely breakfast and Italian coffee :)

  • The room and rest of the appartment is 100% clean and the place is well-located. 15 minutes by tram and a 3-minute walk and you're there. The breakfast selection was nice and there were even more nice things reserved for me in the fridge. Great!

Tip for your arrival: According to V.'s description you can choose between tram no. 19, 14 and 5 to get there from Termini. But actually no. 19 does not serve Termini so for both directions you have to take 14 or 5 to travel between Termini and V.'s place.

As I have seen, she has recently raised the price from 30 up to 40 EUR per night but nevertheless: Absolutely recommendable!
