I was sitting on the deck very early one morning admiring the unreal view of the entire Ten Mile mountain range. The air was cool, crisp and clean and the Downtown Breck lights were still on glowing a beautiful hue of yellow.
There was a thin layer of clouds tucked in tight against the middle of the mountain range as if giving them a morning hug. The sky behind the mountains had a bright fluorescent pink glow. As I sipped my coffee I thought the magic of this scene never stops. I’ve seen it a many times and it just gets better and better. Just then I felt the presence of someone behind me. I turned to see my 9 year daughter looking out with tears rolling down her face. I was shocked and ask her “what’s wrong”? She wiped her tears away and said “nothing is wrong Daddy, the mountains are just so pretty and you’re the best Daddy I have.” I smiled and gave her a hug. I knew right then taking the family on a real vacation is a very special thing to do.

This was a nice and large, self-contained apartment as described. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-provisioned and there were a few nice touches like a bluetooth stereo. The directions for access and other recommendations were great, although I found the instructions for clean-up a bit over the top given we were also paying $150 in cleaning fees.
Place was perfect! The setting was amazing the view was fantastic. The house was great it was perfect as it accommodated our whole group and it beautiful just like the pictures. The bus stop right across the street for easy access.
We stayed at this townhome for 4 nights with a group of 7 guys for our annual ski trip. The house was good for what we needed - nothing fancy, places for everyone to sleep, etc. I would say the description is not quite accurate, as it says it sleeps 10 and is large. We counted, and you could in fact sleep 10 people in the house if you crammed them in every nook and cranny, but you would be miserable if you tried. It's a three-story townhouse that felt a little cramped at times with 7 men and all their ski clothing and gear in it. Other folks comments about the water heater not lasting long are accurate, however, I don't know of many water heaters that can fuel 7 showers continuously without running out. The beds and linens were not the greatest, but it was fine for a group of college buddies like us. The house is located right across from the free bus that comes every 30-60 min. and is about at 15 min. ride to town and the gondola. There is a small mudroom at the front door with racks to hang your skis and/or snowboards. There was no internet, and cellular internet service wasn't the best in the house. I didn't have a problem with the lack of internet since it wasn't listed as being available on the description anyway. Overall, this house was an okay experience. It met our needs well, but all we did was sleep and shower in the house between skiing all day and heading out on the town for dinner and drinks. If you want a place to spread out and relax, this is not it. If you want something more like a crash pad for 6-8 guys, this is a good spot. One thing to note - if you stay here, be VERY careful going to and from the bus stop or parking lot. It is very icy and the management does not do much in the way of de-icing or shoveling. Everyone in our group had a serious slip and fall at some point on the trip between the parking lot and the front door. The only injuries we sustained on this trip were due to ice on the sidewalk, not our lack of ability on the slopes :)
Sadly we encountered several problems. The biggest issue at the property is that there was no internet and the only solution the host proposed was to go to the nearest Starbucks (about 10 by car). Sadly the parking lot had a ramp with a lot of ice and our van just got stuck. If you do rent here, be very careful when you park as almost everyone had trouble getting out. The property does look like the pictures, and it is "clean" except for the linings, the towels and especially the pillows which had a "funny" smell and just made me question when was the last time the host cleaned them. The view from the living room and the main room is fantastic and the space in the kitchen and dinning room is perfect for a group of 8-10 people. We were 7 people staying here and I think that is the right/exact number of people you should have. We had 2 people in the main room, 2 in the second room and 3 in the third room. There is a bonus room which in all honesty is a joke, you can maybe fit an individual air mattress or place your bags there (which that is what we did). The problem we had for being 7 persons is that the heater for the water is very small so even though there are 3 showers, there is not enough hot water for all 7 people (after the 3rd person showers there is only cold water), so you should definitely organise and have people shower in the night and some others in the morning. We were also very disappointed that there were no telephones even though the description stated there were 3, and there are cable channels but only in one tv. I know that the property does offer some great rates however don't expect anything great, just like other people have commented, this property is getting old and the host should definitely make an effort to improve it. And it is not 5-8 minutes from the Gondola, its more like 12-15 minutes.
Do I recommend this property? No, unless... No.
A big recommendation for the host is to be more friendly. Sadly, he doesn't really care about his guests, he doesn't even go to the property at the Check in and if you do have any problem he does nothing. So hopefully he can fix the property and also his attitude.
I enjoyed staying at the house, it was clean and in a great location. I would most certainly stay there again.
The reservation was canceled 34 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Location: The condo was easy to find and easy to access. It's about 5-10 minutes from downtown Breckenridge, but there is a super convenient free shuttle stop right outside the front door.
Accommodations: It was very cozy but still spacious and had plenty of room for my party of 12 to lounge, eat, and sleep. The furnishings were a bit old (couches, beds, tables etc) but still usable and comfortable. The dishwasher and furnace weren't operational during my stay, but it wasn't much of a hindrance.
OVERALL: Great place to stay for a large group
