Just a few housekeeping chores and info for you:
Conditions and House Rules
Please leave the premises in the same order and cleanliness as you found it.
Overnight guest are limited to 10, remember this is not a party house but a private residence. Your neighbors are all year round residents ... then tend to call the police on party animals.
Please be respectful of the neighbors with noise in the house and outside the house. Especially after 10pm til 8am
No phone service is provided ... so use your cell phones ... Can’t tell you where the nearest phone booth is .. haven’t seen one in years.
Make sure the house is locked when you leave at anytime.
Please do not leave the gas grill unattended and make sure it is turned off when you have finished grilling.
If a water leak occurs please notify the owner immediately.
Stopped up toilets and drains will be billed to you.
Please place all garbage in the garbage can on the side of the house by the front door. All garbage to be in plastic bags.
We do recycle here in Va Beach ... it is mandatory. The blue container on the left side of the house is for recycle waste only. Bottles, tin and aluminum cans, plastic bottles, cardboard and newspaper should be recycled. Make sure they are rinsed and free of liquids.
Trash day is Tuesday If you can remember .. take the container out on Monday night recycling is every other week, we’ll take care of that .......
Please help keep our beaches and water clean ... pickup trash and put in the city provided waste containers ...even cigarette butts. Our City does not have those fancy beach cleaning machines that other tourist trap beaches have ...it’s up to you and me
Parking: 2 spaces only are provided in front of the house. No more than 2 cars are permitted at any time. Be aware this is a duplex and the dirveway is shared with the rear unit. Please do not block their passage.
Wireless internet service is available

You would think most of this information would be common sense .... but we find a lot of vacationers forget to pack their common sense ..... and leave it at home. So for those of you that haven’t lost your common sense ... or sense of humor ... we apologize!
Finally ... please mind and watch your children ... especially in the front yard with the street. We want you to have an enjoyable ... vacation ... free from emergency room visits.
Welcome to the beach ....
You must be out by 10am sharp ... so that we can get the housekeeping staff in to clean. It takes 3-4 hours to clean this home between move-ins and move-outs.
The property should be left in the same general order that you found it .... this is not a hotel ... but a home ... and your mother doesn’t live here!
You DO NOT need to wash the linens and towels. Feel free to leave the beds unmade upon leaving.
Floors should be “Broom Clean”.
The refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove should be cleaned out and not have any messes or leftover food.
Make sure the dishes area all clean and put away.
Please take any remaining trash (in plastic bags) and recycling to their proper containers outside.
Lock all doors and close all window, turn lights out before you leave.
Enjoy your stay in Virginia Beach. Should you have any questions about the area or want a dinning spot recommendation .... or side trip recommendation ...... give me a call at anytime ... (phone number hidden)
Great house, walking distance to the beach in a beautiful neighborhood. Host really treats you like you're in a five star hotel. Only draw back is that it's on a slightly busy road.
A lovely beach house, perfect for large family gatherings like ours. The house is very-well equipped and appointed, especially the beach gear like chairs, parasol, boogie boards and toys for the kids. Great location, an easy walk to a beautiful, clean beach.
I stayed at Kristin's Virginia Beach home with my husband, another couple, and their toddler. The home was very clean, spacious, and only a short walk to the beach. The beach cart was a lifesaver, as the walk is long enough that you don't want to have to make multiple trips. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped for cooking, which we did for every meal. I enjoyed the best sleep of my life on the king-sized Tempur-pedic bed. The neighborhood is lovely, and has a nice walking/bike path that we took advantage of almost every morning. I would definitely stay here again.
Our family had a fantastic time. It was beautiful, bright, and only a short walk to the beach. It was clean and perfectly suited our family of 10 - including three active, young children. I'd recommend it to anyone!
Gorgeous home a short walk to the beach! Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. Lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards available to use. We had a fantastic stay here, so comfortable. We loved it!!
The house in Virginia Beach was beautiful. They did an amazing job having it ready for guests - since they actually live in this house during the school year, they must have gone to a lot of trouble to prepare it to be a vacation house. It's large, comfortable, incredibly clean and luxuriously equipped. We have six kids and it was still a ton of room. The only caveats are: (1) if you have toddlers it's a bit difficult because there are two flights of stairs and you have to watch your kids constantly, and (2) it's on a main road, so it's not as quiet as some of the houses on side streets. However, it is back from the road and it is a very quick block and a half to the beach. The beach is beautiful and wasn't crowded at all. There is also a gorgeous state park just up the road. Overall, a fantastic experience.
Fantastic rental! Kristin had everything looked after, from the welcome package to continuous monitoring of the stay. The location is perfect for my purposes (beach and tranquility), and the experience couldn't be better.

We are an active family of four, mom, dad, two kids and a dog. We like to travel, ski, hike, bike, and play around at the beach. On our world travels we like what Air bnb has to offer. The best way to experience the real culture of a country, city or a town is to stay at someones house. The same experience can´t be felt by staying in a touristy hotel.
We regularly have guests in our home and we tend to "roll out the red carpet" when we have vistors.
Currently we reside in Virginia. For six years we enjoyed the proximity of the energetic Manhattan in our quiet and secluded beach cottage. We regularly come on short visits to charge up and to enjoy all NYC has to offer. Broadway shows, ball games, the galleries and world class resturants are our favorite pasttime when we are in the city. The kids prefer to hang at the beach with their friends in the neighbourhood, surfing sunbathing and boogey boarding. Entertaining our guests in the backyard, cooking up a feast and sitting around the firepit is our preferred way to spend the evening.
Our goal is to go out of our way to make our guest feel welcome.
