My husband, two large dogs, and I recently relocated to HCMC, so having a place to call home for a few days, while we found our permanent home, was fabulous! Especially one that was dog-friendly, which in HCMC, is extremely rare! Nhan and his assistant were super helpful, answering all our questions, and generally making themselves available all the time. The house is in a lovely little neighborhood, with a rivers-side park 100 yards away, and is a short walk from some great street food (rotisserie duck!) and fun beer gardens on Tran Nao. The house was very comfortable, fully outfitted (but no TV) and spotlessly clean; we had a wonderful stay! Highly recommend it!
We had a great stay in HCMC. Our room was clean and comfortable with the possibility to smoke on the balcony. The aircondition works perfectly and is not too noisy. We received one fresh bottle of drinking water every day. The bathroom was ok but unfortunately no free shampoo, shower gel etc. as written online. As the host's family was there during our stay we did not really use the ktichen (free coffee) or other amenities. However our host's sister was very helpful and gave us some good tips for public transportation, restaurants, bars and spa options.
You really only get to the city center by taxi. Take a business card or written address because most taxi drivers almost don't speak or understand English - especially from the house to get home again! However the taxi stop is just around the corner and it's very easy to catch a cab any time during day and night. The airport transfer was well organized by the host. All in all a good alternative to a medium range bed&breakfast.
