Lovely apartment in the traditional Cannaregio district, aside one of the most characteristic channel of Venice. You will be merged in the quiet but close to an area full of typical restaurants. Wonderful starting point to discover hidden Venice.
The apartment is a loft consists of a large central room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. To the side there is a modern well-equipped kitchen which opens on a charming patio doors overlooking the canal, with the possibility for those who wish, to moor a boat.
The bathroom is new and very elegant
I love very much spend some time with my guests having a Spritz (our traditional cocktail) or organizing some tours around Venice discovering some hidden places or restaurants.
There are different ways to get to Venice from the airport:
The best and cheapest way to reach Venezia from the airport is to pick the bus n. 5 just at the exit of arrivals terminal. The one way ticket is 6€ each and you can buy it at the distributor aside the stop or on the bus. It lasts about 30 min. to get to Venice.
The bus stops at the terminal of Piazzale Roma.
Another way to reach Venezia, more expensive but also most fascinating is to arrive by boat getting the Alilaguna Line and stopping at Fondamenta Nove.
The cost of the ride is 15€ and it takes about 45 min.
One more way is to get a taxi cab bringing you to Piazzale Roma. It costs 45-50 euros (depending on the traffic).
The most expensive way is to take a taxi boat... surely the most scenic and romantic way but very expensive (120-180€).
Finally, if you desire I can also organize to meet you directly at the airport at the arrivals terminal and bring you to Venice. In this case the cost is 50€.

Frederico and Christina are the personification of the Airbnb experience.
Staying in an apartment in a local neighbourhood is of course a great way to get a feel for the city you're in. Frederico made this even better by sharing his recommendations for genuine Venetian food, drinks, sights and sounds. Christina is a walking encyclopaedia and after a lovely evening she regaled us with the city's lesser known history on a whistle stop tour around hidden canals.
For delicious delights of all kinds i highly recommend a stay in one of their wonderful apartments. We'll definitely be back.
We had a really pleasant and restful time in Venezia thanks to Federico and his lovely apartment. It was very comfortable, cosy and charming (having your own access to the canal makes a difference every morning when you open the windows).
We really appreciated the area, in a typical venetian atmosphere, away from the touristic agitation. Having a Spritz and some fishes alongside the canal with other inhabitants of the area (almost) made us feel we were part of the city :)
Since the city is not big, there is no problem to reach any place from the apartment by foot.
Federico has been helpful and nice since the beginning. He was waiting us after the vaporetto we took from the airport. Then he proposed us a small walk to discover the area of the apartment before revealing us his best spots and restaurants in Venice on a map we kept closely the whole week.
We knew we could count on him for any question or problem (hopefully, there has been none) !
We had a wonderful time in Venice and Federico was the perfect host. The apartment is lovely and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Sitting with a glass of wine and a book watching the boats on the canal was pure perfection.
Federico was generous with his time and talked us through the highlights of Venice and made some really good recommendations.
I highly recommend Federico and his apartment.
Highly recommend this beautiful apartment... the location is spectacular: right on a quiet side-canal and surrounded by great restaraunts and great architecture. The room itself is cozy and has a romantic balcony/nook overlooking the canal that is perfect for a night of dining in.
More importantly, Federico was an increidbly gracious host and fantastic recommendations for us to experience the best of what Venice has to offer. He made himself very available and was extremely flexible around checkout/checkin.
A wonderful stay!
We had a great stay in Venice thanks to Federico. The apartment is ideally situated if you want to be in a more authentic and residential part of the town, but its location near vaporetto stations allow you to quickly move to other parts of the town. You can even reach the Rialto bridge by walk in less than 15 minutes.
Even if you go there with pre-defined list of places to go visit or some restaurants/bars you should definitely follow Federico recommendations on places in Venice. All his places were really fine and we never had to search long for a place in our tourist guide.
Also, the view on the canal is of course really amazing, you can have a drink or read your book while seeing all the boats navigate on the canal.
We went to Venice for the first time during Carnevale. It was a wonderful experience and the apartment served our needs well. Simple, cozy and in a great neighborhood. Federico was incredibly helpful and available if we needed him.
Federico met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. On the way, he told us a bit about the city and gave us great tips. His restaurant recommendation near the apartment was the best meal we had in Venice.
The apartment was very clean and very nice. It's right on a canal and you can hear the water at night. It was perfect. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to San Marco's Square (everything in Venice is close). Definitely pick this place!
Federico is awesome and his apartment is amazing. He was so helpful meeting us to walk to his perfect apartment. It is right on the canal and a perfect way to experience Venice. It was a perfect airbnb experience and anyone looking to stay in Venice, this is the place.
Venice was perfect, the appartment really Nice, location in the local area fantastisch. Really enjoyed the Nice little restaurants in the neighbourhood. Frederico was not in the country, but there was a warm welcome by Irene who bought breakfast for us.
What can I say. The apartment was clean, warm, bright, characteristic and perfect. The owners Federico and Irene helped immensely in setting everything up. Then when we arrived, Irene met us from a pre-arranged meeting point and took us to the apartment. As we walked she chatted away about certain things to see and advised of places to go. She told us of a few restaurants and of areas that we may like. When arriving at the apartment she showed us around and how to use the heating and other appliances. The apartment was nice and toasty when we got there as she had briefly put the heating on before hand. Irene did not stay for long as I'm sure she knew not to 'hang around' and let us get on with the exploration of this beautiful city where every bridge and canal is like a painting. The location was very good. I'm sure you know and have heard it loads already but it really first matter where you stay (as long as you're on the island) you can walk everywhere. Awesome getaway in a perfect apartment. The balcony/door to the canal (see in pictures) was the perfect setting to my proposal of marriage. So if you're thinking of doing this. Please consider this place. Lee x
