We had a perfect stay at Federico's apartment in Venice for our honeymoon. It's in a great part of town (away from tourists) and the place is so cozy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Federico is an excellent host and gave us great recommendations for site-seeing and food all over Venice. He went over tons of information and advice for us when we got there… which we greatly appreciated and helped tremendously with our stay. I especially loved the opening to the canal. It was the perfect place for eating breakfast every morning.
Great experience from start to finish. Federico is an amazing host, he met us up at the bus and walked us to the apartment, pointing out all the best spots for sights and places to eat/drink. He then spent around 30 mins showing us around the apartment and talking through a map of venice. This all set us up for an amazing venice experience. The apartment is a great space in an amazing location. Would definitely return!
Wonderful clean place and great location! The apartment was clean updated and had all the necessary things such as towels, coffee maker, tea, sugar, dishes, etc. Federico was a very good host! He met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. He gave us a map and gave us great recommendations for our stay. We loved that the apartment was a few mins from the crazy busy tourist areas that were very noisy. But it was not too far to get to the main areas. There are a few really good restaurants near by and the patio opening up to the canal is perfect for your morning coffee or glass of wine. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early because we waited too long to book our train ticket and they were all sold out so we needed to rent a car to drive there to make our flights home. Overall, great place and would definitely recommend it! Thanks Federico!
Federico was very friendly and told us everything we needed to arrive at the apartment.
Couldn't have asked for a better first time to both Venice and air bnb. The flat is a fantastic place. Everything you need is there and the location gives you the option to dive into the tourist infested portion of Venice but retreat to a wonderfully quite local district; full of great places to eat, drink and watch the sunset. In summary, if you would like the best introduction to Venice you could wish for and have a fantastic place to say - look no further.
Had a great stay with Federico. Apartment is located in a quieter part of the city, which made for a welcomed break from the throngs of tourists. Upon arrival Federico spent 30+ minutes giving us an overview of the city and attractions / dining highlights. We ended up eating at two of his dinner recommendations, both of which were excellent. Although by staying with Federico you sacrifice some hotel amenities (e.g., daily maid service), in Venice we were happy to make the trade for the more neighborhood feel afforded through staying in an apartment.
This is a very nice apartment, just as described and pictured. Venice is wonderful and though the location requires a tad more walking to get to sights it is still very convenient. aComfortable bed. The patio is small but it's very nice to enjoy in the mornings and evenings. The place is great and Federico was a very helpful host and pleasant guy. He met us at the train station which is very helpful as Venice is confusing at first. Once we arrived he sat down with a map, oriented us to how to get around and how to use the Vaporetto (water taxis). He recommended the islands and we did Murano and Burano and we especially liked bike riding and the beach in Lido. Plus Federico was very responsive when we had questions. A great place and an excellent host.
