This space is a loft apartment above a garage with a private entrance. It is a clean (we clean it), comfortable space. The space offers panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A private deck and barbecue grill is provided for your use. Our location offers superior opportunities for hiking (Linville Gorge, Mountains to Sea Trail), mountain biking (Lake James State Park, Wilson Creek area), rock climbing (Table Rock, Linville Gorge, Ship Rock), skiing (Beech and Sugar Mountain), and boating and fishing (Lake James, Wilson and Harper Creek).

Guests may access the entire loft space. The garage below is off limits. By appointment and for a small fee, we offer a farm tour. We can provide details via messaging or when you arrive.

Lives in Morganton, North Carolina
Linda is a retired legal and health care professional. Aram is a retired professor in parks, recreation and tourism management. Linda and Aram were NC Outward Bound instructors and hiked, climbed and paddled in this part of North Carolina in the late '70s and early '80s. In 2015, Aram and Linda retired and moved from Raleigh back to western NC to develop a small dairy goat farm. We enjoy the out of doors. We volunteer on a local Mountains to Sea Trail (MST) maintenance crew. As hosts, we want to share our beautiful farm, lovable goats and awesome Great Pyrenees guardian dogs with our guests.
