This is a pleasant and very nice studio flat in the heart of Florence. It’s small but you can find everything you need to spend some unforgettable days to visit one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in the world.
It’s one room apartment with kitchen well-equipped and a dining area, one sofa-bed and a nice bathroom with shower, including sheets and towels, wifi or lan internet connection, washing machine, Moka coffee making facility..
There are three windows that contribute to have a full sunlight space during all the day.
Its location is ideal to walk round the center with its monuments, bars, restaurants, breathing the real style of the Florentines: two min walk from Piazza S.Croce and five min to other side: Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery.
The train station is only 15 min walk or 5 min by taxi.
The flat is placed on the second floor of a ancient building located in a Middle Age place: Piazza Peruzzi, surrounded from towers and buildings of the one of the most important and powerful family of Florence.
Piazza S. Croce locates the world-famous Basilica that gives its name to the square and to the surrounding area.
Definitely not to miss La Cappella de’Pazzi, beautiful pearl of Brunelleschi’s Renaissance where Ugo Foscolo, Galileo Galilei, Michelangelo, Rossini (..) are buried. Moreover you can see the Cimabue’s crucifix and Giotto’s frescos.
The two quarters of S. Croce and Palazzo Vecchio, the most important and historical points of Florence, are famous for artisan shops, leather goods shops and fantastic restaurants for all tastes and overall for the big lovers of the classical Tuscan cuisine and Chianti wine!
Just around the corner of Via delle Brache there are a very delicious bakery, cool bars, markets, pizzeria, very good wine bars and everything you need to have fun in this magic city!

Frederica's friend Marco helped us with check in and check out and was very helpful.
The location is fantastic if you want to be right in the centre of the touristic parts of the city.
The studio was clean and really cozy, it had everything we needed. The location was really good. We spent six unforgetable days
We stayed at Federica's studio for 7 nights. It was fall and the weather was nice so we couls keep the window open day and night to have fresh air. The studio is perfectly located as it is only 5 min walk from Piazza della Signoria and Uffici. Besides there are a lot of nice places to eat or buy things for breakfast or things like shampoo/soap etc.
The studio is rather small (if you are a big persson you will have problems with using the shower:) And be sure to check if the wi-fi is working properly before you stay alone (we managed to sort it out at the 2d night only).
Federica was absent so her friend Marco let us in and was really very helpful during our stay! It was very comfortable that he came in to leave our Euro 100 deposit without us and we could just put the keys on the table and leave when we needed.
Good location, near all the main attractions/sights. However wifi wasn't working, and bed not as clean. Do note that there is a flight of steep stairs, advice will be to bring a small luggage. Toilet was small but clean.
Federica's studio was definitely small, but good for one or two people max. A little further away from the train station as we thought, but still walkable. Once there from the train station, the location was awesome -- very close to all the shopping and around the corner from some of the best restaurants we tried in Florence! Communication with Federica was good from beginning to end in terms of setting up a check in time and check out time. A few days before our check in, she did mention her requirement of a security deposit of 100 euros that she needed to collect given some issues that she had with recent guests (e.g., a broken shower knob); however, when we actually arrived we didn't have any cash on us. We offered to run down to the ATM, but her friend who met us (Federica was out of town so we didn't actually meet her), was gracious enough to waive the deposit. I'm technically not sure if the security deposit is allowed under airbnb guidelines, but I can understand Federica's concerns given some troubles she had with past guests.
All in all - a decent stay! I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for an affordable, CLEAN (one of my top priorities) and centrally-located apartment.
I love meeting people from different cities, cultures and backgrounds.
I love travelling and I know that when you arrive in a new city, it’s very amusing to have a cozy place that welcomes you friendly and warmingly.
I love Florence and I like people feel at ease as they were at their own home while discovering and strolling round this marvelous city!
