About This Listing
It is amazing how everything you need is fitted in such a small place in an amazingly comfortable manner.
It is amazing how everything you need is fitted in such a small place in an amazingly comfortable manner. It has a bathroom, a bedroom for up to two people, washing machine and a beautiful roof view.
Тhe neighbors are mainly elderly people who do not like noise and loud music between 2pm and 4pm and after 10pm. The elevator is extremely old and slow but it saves your breath when going up to the last floor where the flat is.
The place is located in the very centre of Sofia. It's a 1 minute walk to the nearest subway station and a 5 to 15 min. walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops in central Sofia.
There is a tram and a bus passing by as well as the subway. The "tram bus" station is also very near.
The unique thing about this place is the cosines it offers in the heart of Sofia city. It's quite surprising and comforting to come back to such a quiet place in the centre of the city.
Please feel at home! Feel as if this is your home - a place to comfort you as much as you do!
Respect the neighbours and don't remove the glass plate from the oven when cooking! :)
There is constantly running hot water but please turn off all electrical items when going out!
Maia is really nice, and waited for us very late, since our flight was delayed. And even though it was late, she took the time to show us some things on a map she provided.
The flat is perfect for one or two persons, and very well situated. Walking distance to everything.
If I go back, I'll gladly stay there again.
Maia is a great host. She was very welcoming when I arrived, offering to meet me at the busstop. She had also prepared a small map and she informed me about the Sofia International Film Festival which was taking place during my stay. I stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and had a great stay. The apartment was also big enough for my family to come and visit for a week during my stay since there is a couch in the living room that you can sleep on. I also liked that the kitchen felt at home with all the things you need to cook, and also tea, coffee, pasta etc. That was great since I had to do quite a bit of cooking during my stay. The location is also great, close to busstop from the airport, close to city centre and close to a great park where I did a lot of walking and jogging. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others.
We stayed in Maia's place in Sofia for 6 weeks and we loved living there. It's in a fantastic location in the city- bus stop outside the door, tram line and metro are 2minutes walk. The National Stadium is down the street with great gym facilities and fitness classes. Sofia is a food lovers heaven with loads of nice restaurants to choose from, most of which are within walking distance of Maia's apartment.
The apartment itself is really nice. It's bright, cosy and modern and has everything you could need for a short or long stay. The kitchen has pots, pans, plates, cups, etc- there are two hobs and a microwave/oven for cooking. The internet is fast and reliable and the apartment has a really comfy couch! :) The bathroom is a little small but it doesn't matter as you don't spend much time in there and there's never a problem with hot water for showering which is great! :)
We 100% recommend staying in Maia's apartment. Maia was really helpful before we arrived, answering all our questions about living in Sofia. She also came to meet us when we arrived (on a freezing cold Winter night) and she gave us a map and explained about the city. Whenever we had any questions, she was very quick to reply.
A great host and a great place. :)
This is the second time we stayed at Maia's place. Just like the last time she was a great host - although we did not need to contact her very often, she was very quick to respond, flexible and very easy to communicate with.
As for the place - it is exactly how it looks like in the pictures - it is even more cozy with the new couch :))
I would definitely recommend staying there if you are visiting Sofia and you are looking for a nice, comfortable and a convenient place to stay at which is at a perfect location as well.
We wish you all the best, Maia - we hope to see you again. :)
Maia was an excellent host; both during our pre-booking stage and after booking the apartment she was extremely polite and efficient in replying to our messages. She greeted us as soon as we arrived and was helpful at giving us an overview of Sofia and her apartment. The location of the apartment is also excellent, the city centre, excellent restaurants, fresh veg and fruit markets are just a few minutes walk away. It is also very close to some nice parks so we could enjoy some nice walks early in the morning. We were there with our 18 months old daughter and the apartment is also in a very safe area.
The apartment is also very clean, cosy and well equipped for a short city break as described by her and as can be seen in the pictures. If I would go back to Sofia again, I would definitely rent her apartment again. And for those of you who like me work online, the internet connection is very fast and reliable.
