  • Renee and her family helped us when we loaded in our luggages and provide a very tasty bottle of homemade apricot jam. We enjoyed our stay in her place. BUT please note there is no wifi or any form of internet connection if you really need it as we did. Plan ahead.

  • Geachte,

    Carine

  • Renée was a very nice host, warmly welcoming us in her apartment while sharing some tourist tips on what to visit in that part or Provence. The apartment, in the centre of Tarascone, was clean and ready for our arrive. She even left in the fridge for us her homemade apricot jam, very good indeed!

  • The owner is very nice, but we meet some problem there! first one is the owner gave us wrong key, and we have to wait outside till someone came back. And the second day we were cooking piza and soup, suddenly the power was off. And we wait the owner come to fix the problem for forty mins. And the room is not enough big for us. And there is no internet in the room.

    Response from Monique:

First of all, the reason why the power shut off is because you used all the induction plate + the oven + all the lights + the TV and all the plugs at the same time... No wonder why it all shut off... You asked for too much energy at the same time. The reason why I took 40 minutes to come down is because I live 30 minutes away from the property plus the time to park... So sorry but I don't know how to fly yet.... Maybe you can teach me?

As for the size of the room it is an appartment that fits 5 people and with the price you paid may I suggest you to check the price of a hotel in the south of France for 5 people and see how expensive it will be? It will be about 5 times what you paid for in our appartment, so please be respectful.

A regular Room for 1 person with bathroom shared and no kitchen is already 50 euros for one personin a "Formule 1" hotel which are the cheapest and situated in the suburb of cities. You paid 74 euros for 5 people! So 15 euros each more or less! In the city center of one of the capital city of Provence right in front of the train Station, In the historical neighborhood of the city in a flat big enough to fit 5 people with breakfast included and yet you are unhappy?

As for the internet,IT WAS WRITTEN ON OUR PROFILE when you booked our appartment so next time be more careful when you book a place and be aware of the price you pay and what you get for it. We also told you that there was a cyber café where you pay 1 Euro for an hour of internet right down the street which you ignored of course.

I would suggest you to stop using Airbnb and go to 4 stars Hotels instead, and try to find one as cheap as what you want. However you'll see that the price will be different... You won't pay 15 euros each in the historical center with breakfast included in a newly renovated appartment...

  • Although we arrived late in the evening Renee was waiting for us to pilot us through the streets to the accomodation place. There is a safe parking place in this beautiful town so you can enjoy your stay without worring about anything. The place has all the necessary equipment, everything functions well, hosts very friendly and helpful, 20 min to Avignon:) Thank you for everything!
