About this listing
My victorian condo has 2 BR and 1.5 baths on two levels. Upstairs is my BR with full bath, downstairs is open plan living/dining/kitchen, your half bath, and your bedroom. Centrally located with all SF has to offer within easy reach. Dedicated parking in front of home.
Location, location, location. 1.5 blocks from the corner of Haight and Ashbury. Walk to Golden Gate Park, Buena Vista Park, Panhandle. Haight-Ashbury and Cole Valley business districts serve the neighborhood.
Guests have access to parking spot (if needed) the entire first floor (bedroom, half-bath, living/dining room, kitchen), and to the shower upstairs.
Interaction with Guests
I work quite a lot (attorney), and I generally play this by ear. If you want more interaction, just ask!
This neighborhood is west of the areas destroyed by the 1906 quake and fire, so the Victorian era architecture remains intact and is everywhere. Vibrant colors abound, one of the most photographed row of "Painted Ladies" is just around the corner. The Hippie culture thrives on Haight Street, with the more upscale Cole Valley providing a respite.
The neighborhood is heavily served by Muni, the local transit service. Best connections to Union Square, Downtown, Civic Center, and Financial District are the N-Judah Metro Train, which you can catch at Carl Street & Cole Street, and the 6 and 7 buses, catch these at Haight & Masonic. Also take the N-Judah train the other way out along Golden Gate Park to Ocean Beach. If going across town to the Presidio or Marina Green, catch the 43 Masonic bus at Haight & Masonic. To the Castro and Mission districts, catch the 33 bus at Waller and Ashbury (this is a scenic bus ride). To Fisherman's Wharf, make your way to Market Street and catch the F-line of restored historic street cars, or catch the Cable Car at Powell Street and Market Street. Connect to BART to and from SFO. On Sundays, street closures in Golden Gate Park make it a popular place for a walk, run, or bike ride (no cars!)
Other Things to Note
