John was exceedingly welcoming. His place is absolutely charming. Described very accurately. Booker the dog was very low key, friendly, and hypoallergenic! Not a loose hair to be found. Loved the little welcoming favors and restaurant recommendations. Plenty of delicious things to eat all within walking distance, and right next to the park!
We really enjoyed our stay! John is a great guy, and the apartment and room was very comfortable. It is very close to the beautiful Golden Gate Park, were we had wonderful morning runs. We are going to miss Booker, Johns dog, dearly! He was such a cuddly, charming dog.
John is a very well organized host and the accommodations make you feel like you're traveling to the city as the guest of a close friend. The proximity to the Golden Gate park makes this location ideal when there are concerts in the park and it's just a quick walk to Haight for shopping and food. Highly recommended!
John was a welcoming host and his house was perfect for my quick trip to visit my son at USF. The house was quiet, yet close to all the amenities NOPA has to offer. The bed was VERY comfortable and house was clean. He also offered a light breakfast, good coffee, and an easy-going vibe.
John made us feel very welcome, with friendly and helpful information about the apartment and the area. It's a quiet, comfortable base for exploring the city.
We stayed at John's for Outside Lands music festival - its a great location close to the park and the Haight. John and his wife were welcoming. The futon bed is in his office and is very comfortable (a nice thick mattress). John had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, which was nice. And was happy to share his nice kitchen. He was flexible with the check in and check out time.
We had a fantastic experience at John's place. It's perfectly situated in a fun neighbourhood, a stone's throw away from all the landmarks in downtown with great transit connections. The bedroom was comfortable and breakfast items were offered daily which was unexpected from my airbnb experiences. John gave us lots of privacy and was very approachable if we needed help. Thank you for your excellent hospitality.
