My family and I had a lovely stay at the Elm house. We stayed 4 nights in July 2014. The house is ideal for kids. Lots and lots of garden Space and a few farm animals as a bonus. The house comfortably sleeps 8 and has all you need for cozy nights in if required. Ben was a very welcoming host.
Criagrothie, the town where the house is situated is very quaint and pretty. There is not too much to do there but neighbouring Ceres has everything you would need and is only about 1 mile down the road. I recommend that if you plan to stay at the Elm you have access to a car, in which case you can make the most of the amazing location and enjoy all the beautiful nearby towns such as Elie, Crail & Anstruther.
The Elm was a beautiful house located fifteen minutes away from St. Andrews and two miles from some of the most scenic lands I've seen along the British countryside. We had a most wonderful time while there! The art in the house was very unique, and the entire place was very trendy! Sadly the weather wasn't fair enough to make use of the trampoline, but it was a great week nonetheless! Highly recommend anyone who is interested!
