The flat was as described, clean and adequate for a family of 4 (bearing in mind that one bed is in the living room). Nice touch to have a few breakfast items in the fridge. Flat is part of a small complex of flats near a hospital and other flats in a non assuming street, walking distance from a supermarket and a few minutes from a bus stop and subway. We found it easiest to use the bus after the first day. A couple of eating options within minutes, including a typical local pub. Portabelo market area (Notting Hill) is a couple of bus stops away. Overall we found the location convenient while we spent most of our days in the city. Recommended, taking into account that cost for value for location is good. As other reviewers have noted the flat is not obvious when first getting there so best to look for 4a which is a business then flat complex number. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Nada's unit was clean and warm and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It is presented as per the photos and is close to transport (underground) and the usual useful facilities (grocery stores, cafes etc.). Nada greeted us on arrival and kindly provided a few things to get us started (cereal, fruit, milk etc.) which was greatly appreciated. We would have no hesitation in staying at Nada's unit again and would recommend its use to others.
Nada was away overseas and kindly organised her brother to welcome us and take us through the apartment which is lovely and exactly as advertised. The apartment is well located in close proximity to both rail and bus making it very was to get to any destination in London. The apartment is perfect for two couples. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Nada's flat to all.
Nada met us at the gate when we arrived. She was very good about keeping us posted every step of the way prior to our visit. Her flat was spotless and very roomy for three adults and one child. There were closets and cabinets for us to store our clothing and toiletries which made it really nice to be able to unpack our suitcases.
Nada is such a thoughtful host. She provided a loaf of bread, some jam, coffee, tea, fruit and milk for us so we would have something to eat and drink upon arrival and our first morning. She carefully explained how to use the various appliances and gave us tips about transportation.
The flat is located in Notting Hill and was very quiet in the evening. The walk to the Ladbroke Grove tube station was lovely and took about 10 minutes. We also utilized the city bus system with bus #23 providing an excellent route through some great neighborhoods on the way to Piccadilly Circus.
The photos are very accurate. As a matter of fact, the terrace with the table is actually larger than it looks in the photo and was really nice to sit out and have a cup of tea in the morning.
We would definitely stay at Nada's place again!
Very nice Appartement in Notting Hill. Nada was so patient as we arrived later then announced. We felt very comfortable in the flat and will come back whenever we will be in London.
Excellent apartment and very good location. We were two adults and four teenagers and it was very comfortable for us to stay in the apartment. It was very easy to take the bus to Oxford street and Kensington high street and Portobello Road is in walking distance. Nada was very nice and welcommed us with fruit and bread, very nice.
It has been a pleasure to know Nada and holiday by her: she's been an adorable host, timely in replying to our questions and precise to provide valuable information
The house was great and enjoayable, and the quarter where it is located quiet and well served by means of transport, underground included.
I definitely recommend such experience
