  • We enjoyed our short stay in St. Paul. The house was immaculate and the room comfortable and quiet. Elliott recommended a wonderful restaurant in the neighborhood which was perfect after our delayed flight. The next morning there were incredibly delicious home-baked rolls for breakfast before we left. We did not meet Elizabeth, but Elliott was a gracious and thoughtful host.

  • Thank you Elliott and Elizabeth for being great hosts. It was our first AirBNB experience, and it was really more than I expected! E&E were so kind to leave us bread, fruit and coffee in the morning. And their lovely home is filled with gorgeous furniture and prints. Thanks again!

  • Elliott and Elizabeth have done a remarkable job of restoring this house in a century-old section of St. Paul that has undergone a good deal of gentrification since the days when I was a St Paulite. It has convenient access to downtown and to IS 94. I had little time to spend with the Nickells, but my short conversations with Elliott were enjoyable. He had made the wise choice to move there from New York City, and was clearly enjoying his new surroundings.

  • Oh my God! This young, energetic and extremely learned couple of diverse interest are to be savored by who ever has the good-fortune of experiencing their hospitality!! What a beautiful home in a quintessential Saint Paul neighborhood of yore. They welcomed and valued my visit as if it was all that mattered. Thank you Elizabeth and Elliot for the invigorating evening musings! C'ya in Sri Lanka!!

  • I use Airbnb mostly for work and this trip was no different. Elliot and Elizabeth have a gorgeous home and I felt very comfortable. The house is located very close to downtown, so it was very convenient for me to get back and forth. I did not have a chance to meet Elliot, however, Elizabeth was super helpful with recommendations on where to grab a bite to eat. It was a great stay. Thank you Elliot and Elizabeth!

  • Elliot and Elizabeth were fine hosts and their house is really quite nice. Besides that, they live within walking distance of a food-to-table restaurant (tasty dinner) and and a cozy coffee shop (good breakfast). I was working at the Minnesota Historical Society most days, and getting there, by way of the highway, was also easy.

  • This was my first Airbnb experience and a good one. Elliot and Elizabeth are great hosts. The home is a lovely Victorian with lots of TLC invested by them. The room is comfortable and clean with easy access to the BR that you'll share. The neighborhood is a beautiful old neighborhood on the bluff. Easy to get to (even though I got confused first time trying late at night). I was able to walk to farmer's market downtown. They are welcoming and clearly invested in the well being of their home and their hood, which is very pleasing and obvious. Didn't get a chance to spin the records but it's a fun collection. One of my sons asked if I'd stay there again? Yes, I would. Thanks, E and E from E
