Spacious bedroom with double bed and (shared) bathroom. Attractive location, just outside the city center of Nijmegen (5 min walk). The cosy restaurants and pubs of 'Nijmegen-Oost' are also just five minutes walk away. Bus stop at 50m.
The room has a seating area, free WiFi and a sink. Breakfast is included in the price. If necessary, there is room for a third person.
When you want to park your car in our street, make sure you pick up our permit for visitors first. Parking is much cheaper that way (about € 2,60/day, instead of € 14,40/day).
We do have a dog, Lola, but she is very small and friendly.
Michel's family has made my stay in Nijmegen very enjoyable.
They were very courteous and helpful all through my 4-days stay.
The room is large and confortable, with washbasin and has a wifi connection
Their house is located in a cosy and quiet street, and was a short walking distance from the Centre of the town.
You've been amazing hosts, thank you!
Me and my friends had a wonderful stay at Michel´s house. The bed is very big and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty.
Excellent place to stay ... we will come back!
- Very nice room with a lot of space, very good breakfast, nice and helpful host!
- situated close to the city center, however very quiet
A very nice room, wonderful breakfast, a great host. Highly recommended professional airbnber!
Everything was great! Very nice and helpful people!
The room is clean, comfortable and exactly as in the pictures.
The householders, Michel and Mieke are helpful and very respectful to your privacy.
We stayed 9 long days with them without any problem. Definitely recommend.
excellent place where to stay, just 5 mins from city center on foot, clean and spacious room and delicious dutch breakfast.
We met michel and his wife, they were both very accomodating and polite, i'd definitely advise this place to anyone coming to nijmegen
Michel and Mieke were very welcoming and I would certainly recommend staying with them. The room was just as it looks in the photos, with lots of light, a comfy bed, a sink, and a table with chairs. There was always a nice breakfast waiting on the kitchen table for me, and Mieke offered to let me use their extra bicycle to get around town. A very nice stay, thank you very much!
Wonderful hospitality from Michel and his wife. I stayed two nights in Nijmegen with my husband in order to attend a wedding and tour the town. Michel's location was extremely convenient: a quiet street that is 10 minutes walking from the station and only 5 minutes from the heart of downtown. Also nearby (about 10 minutes walking) is the polder, beautiful for hiking, biking, and tea.
The room we stayed in is bright and spacious. We were provided a lovely breakfast each morning, as much privacy as we wanted, and warm conversation if we were all together. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
My wife Margaret and I stayed at Michel's b&b during the last week in June 2013 as we were visiting friends in Nijmegen.
We found him and his wife Meika to be very friendly and courteous and we got on very well with them. The location of their house is excellent and is on a nice street only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Nijmegen which has a great shopping area with plenty of bars, nice restaurants and historic buildings. There is a street market in the town centre on Mondays and Saturdays with a good range of stalls.
The room itself is on the second floor facing the street and is bright, clean and spacious with a very comfortable double bed, a roomy built-in wardrobe, a sink and a nice seating area. There is plenty of storage space and power outlets around the room and a strong wi-fi signal is available throughout the house with the wi-fi router password prominently displayed in each room. The bathroom is located just across the hall from the bedroom and is spacious with a wet-room type shower with plenty of towels available.
The breakfast (generously included in the price) is provided in the spacious kitchen at ground level and a time can be agreed with Meika on arrival or the night before. There was a good plentiful selection of breads, cereal, cold meats, eggs, cheese, jams, orange juice, tea, nice filter coffee etc served at the large kitchen table and we never went hungry.
Meika informed us that we could access the kitchen anytime we wanted to make a tea/coffee etc and I made use of this a few times after returning from an evening out. This was very much appreciated.
I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here...Michel even graciously offered to pick us up from the rail station on our arrival (not needed as we flew into Weeze airport in Germany and were picked up by friends) but the offer was highly appreciated.
We very much enjoyed our stay here and hope to return someday.
