We loved staying at cottage bend! Sarah was very prompt with email responses and stopped by shortly after we had checked in to make sure we were all set. The location is more than perfect. Our kids loved walking to Columbia Park and the trail down to McKay Park is so close too. You can see photos and more about our trip staying at Cottage Bend on my blog here: (website hidden)
First off we were provided an early check in, which is so nice after driving so far. When we arrived we were so pleased, it is such a cute property!! It is better than the pictures- super stylish yet still homey. It was a perfect fit for our family of four but could have comfortably fit more people. The location is great- you can bike or walk easily to the river, breweries and restaurants. There is a sweet park right down the street that our kids loved. Unfortunately it rained our entire trip- which we heard was unusual. We plan on coming back when it is hot and (fingers crossed) not raining to enjoy the river:)))) We would love to stay here again.
My family and I spent a week at the cottage and it was perfect. The house couldn't be cuter and the location was perfect. We could walk to all the best locations in Bend. We have three kids all under 6 and the cottage was very kid friendly. We had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
We absolutely loved Sarah's cottage. It was adorable and an amazing location. We were in Bend for 4 nights with our golden retriever and couldn't have had a better stay. Located within an easy walk to many breweries, great restaurants and parks! Located in a quiet residential area. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and has a great kitchen (nice gas stove!) if you plan on cooking on vacation.
We loved our stay at the Bungalow. It is very tastefully decorated with a great mix of modern and vintage. The guest information book, that was put together for visitors, had perfect recommendations including coffee shops (Backporch) to breweries (Crux) to restaurants (Chow) and things to do nearby.
We appreciated the black out curtains in the bedrooms and the super comfortable mattresses. The sun filled dining nook was a great place to share a meal. My son loved the flat screen TV that could be hidden in the living room cabinet. There were also good books, lots of DVD's and games to chose from.
Our stay was one of my all time favorite AirBnB experiences.
LOVED this adorable abode. We stayed here over Xmas/New Year with our two girls (aged 9 and 11) and small dog Wally. We especially appreciated being able to cook in the awesome kitchen (six burner stove and high counters were bliss to two tall home cooks!) Sarah's assistant Anna was a rockstar, on call to answer any and all annoying questions about both the house and the area. Beautifully furnished with gorgeous touches of whimsy, it was truly was functional and fashionable. Best of all, it was mere walking minutes to the Mt Bachelor Shuttle Bus.
This cottage was a great space for us to enjoy our winter vacation! The space was convenient, comfortable, warm, and well equipped. Hot tub was clean and we never saw the other guests in the neighboring cottages. There's a great book for guests that has all the necessary information, and the host is easy to communicate with if you have any questions.
