We will greet you on arrival or leave keys in the lock box. We live close by if you need anything.

The Neighborhood

The cottage is around the corner from Columbia Park, where the famous Freedom Ride finishes on the Fourth of July, a children's park with a pirate ship, and a put in to float the river. A block to the south is the ski bus that takes you to Mt. Bachelor. The cottage is within easy walking distance to Deschutes Brewery, Good Life Brewing, and Back Porch Coffee. A quick bike ride takes you to the breweries and restaurants of Galveston and downtown.

Getting around

Off street parking is provided and it is an easy walk or bike ride to a lot of what Bend has to offer. When flying into Central Oregon, use the Bend-Redmond airport which is about 25 minutes away in Redmond, Oregon. • This house was amazing! My brother and I and another couple stayed here for about a week. It's even more adorable in person. We spent a lot of time in the sun room hangin out. We were able to walk everywhere. Restaurants, bars, trails, and I could pretty much throw a stone at the lot for the Mt Bachelor shuttle! If your looking for a quiet place to relax and/or explore, this is the place!

  • The beauty is in the details. This superbly designed cottage has everything one could possibly need for a spectacular family vacation in Bend. From DVDs and boardgames to high end kitchen appliances and cozy quilts, the host truly thought of everything.

The house is spacious and well designed. My family and I particularly enjoyed the sunny breakfast nook in the back. The hot tub (which is maintained by a professional pool and spa business in town) was very clean and made for the perfect end to a day of skiing at Bachelor.

In addition the location is ideal. The Old Mill and Downtown are a short walk away.

The host was very responsive and made communication a breeze. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in Bend.

  • This cottage is everything the posting says. It's gorgeous, full of character and extremely comfortable. A bonus is that the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you'd need to cook a meal (sans the food if course). I would absolutely stay here again!

  • We loved this place. High attention to detail and an overall relaxing vibe. Cottage meets Modern. Things like room-darkening blinds, premium linens and deluxe beds. We will be back.

  • A sweet little cottage in a super location! We were impressed with the high-end appliances in the kitchen and the attention to detail throughout the cottage. Super-comfy beds and very clean, tidy space with all the amenities. Plus, it was an easy walk to the Old Mill district and we took advantage of the mild weather to take a long walk by the river. Also within walking distance (two blocks!) to the Blue Pine bar/restaurant...bar food with a gourmet touch.

  • Sarah's cottage was the perfect place to stay. It was so comfortable and cozy. She had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. I have family in Oregon and hope to rent her cottage when I return. So glad I found just the right place to be with my family.

  • This cottage and owner (Sarah) couldn't have been better! Cottage was clean, very nice and exactly as stated (well, maybe a bit nicer!). Sarah and her assistant, Anna, were great and very helpful as well. Definitely will be staying here each time I'm in Bend.
