The Space

The prices of the rooms in Rome are inaccessible?

●We host you a double room, very large and bright, very close to Metro A station (Colli Albani) where you can reach the city center by subway in a few minutes, close to the train to / from Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino Airport at affordable prices in a youthful environment.

●In the room there is a comfortable double bed, a large wardrobe and lots of spacious drawers for your stuff, two hairdryers, sheets, blankets and towels clean perfumed.
In the apartment you will find:
Bathroom with large shower, balcony, kitchen if you wanna to cook something typical Italian, free unlimited WIFI internet, free national calls, refrigerator for your food.

●The neighborhood is full of shops, supermarkets, ATM, typical bars in Rome, restaurants and pizzerias very good and cheap to fully satisfy your palate :) (look at map section of the room)
When you arrive you will find an english language travel guide book with everything you need to make you fully enjoy your stay.

●You can easily reach the house because is very close to the metro, which connects directly to the city center in 10 minutes by bus which are very frequent, even at night!

●Under the house there is the bus stop number 85 which leads directly to the Colosseum and in the same bus stops after midnight the night bus "N1" which will take you directly to the home following the line of the A subway ....

●All mixed up ... a youthful, clean and cheaper price, and even if for a few days, you will feel like being at home ☻☻☻

  • Our stay with Antonio was very enjoyable. The room is very large and spacious and the bed comfortable after a day exploring Rome. Antonio provides towels which we appreciated. The neighbourhood is very accessible by both metro and bus and there are several supermarkets located nearby which was useful. Definitely would recommend staying with Antonio if you're visiting Rome.

  • Our experience with Antonio was very good. He was there to greet us as we came from the train station and his directions from the station were very clear and got us to his apartment quickly with no problems. Once we got there, the apartment was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable with lots of storage. He provided us with maps and recommendations on navigation and entertainment which was also much appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome, it was our favorite part of Italy so far! The only thing we didn't enjoy as much was that the toilet in the apartment stopped working after a day of being there and it didn't get fixed before we left =(. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and Antonio was a great host!

  • I didn't get to meet Antonio, but he was very responsive for emails before our trip. Our experience at his apartment wasn't the best, but none of it was Anotonio's fault! His friend met us at the apartment. I got stuck in the elevator for about 10 minutes upon my arrival, which wasn't the best start. Managed to climb out but had to take the stairs to the 6th floor for the rest of our time there. The room itself was sparse but totally fine- big bed, tv, dresser, armoirs, lots of space. Bathroom was a bit small but also fine. Location was close to the metro to get into Rome, and had lots of restaurants, shops, etc in the neighborhood.
There was another guest room at the apartment, and those people came in very drunk and very loud at 3am both nights we were there, which sucked a lot. Our first morning in Rome, there was a big thunderstorm which knocked out the power, and apparently it could not be fixed until 5 days later. So we had no electricity- no lights, no wifi, no hot water. Was impossible to see once it got dark, couldn't charge my phone or tablet to use as a light, so that made it a challenging experience.
If it were not for the elevator incident, drunk flatmates, and power outage, I'm sure the apartment would have been a lovely experience and I'd still recommend it to someone looking for a good place to stay in Rome.

  • Antonio was a great host and very warm and friendly. The bedroom and apartment were exactly as described. Our room was very spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. The neighbourhood was nice and very close to the metro and some small supermarkets. There was also a great pizza-by-weight restaurant right by the metro stop.

  • Antonio's place was lovely. The bedroom was large and spacious with lots of storage which was perfect as we were there for 5 nights. The rest of the flat was clean and tidy.

The area is ideally located as it's not too far from the main attractions.

Antonio was a great host and spoke very good English (we don't know any Italian so this was really helpful!).

  • Antonio is a very helpful and nice guy. His girlfriend too. The room was big, bright. We just spend the nights there. The bathroom is small, and you have to share it with 5 other people, when the other room is also reserved. The internet connection is very fast.
Bus is 2 minute walk direct to Colosseum, metro in 5 minute walk. (When you buy the ticket online for Colosseum and Vatikan, you can skip the line, you dont have to wait.)

  • We only briefly ran into Antonio as he has been busy with work. He is an easygoing guy though, and his girlfriend was very helpful getting us checked in.

The room is as advertised. A basic, and very affordable space with a really comfortable bed. Mornings were a bit noisy with garbage trucks. We were very grateful for the laundry machine as we stayed here later in our trip.

Keep in mind that this is 1 of 3 bedrooms in Antonio's apartment (including his own). Both Antonio and the other renters were super nice and respectful, but you will be sharing a bathroom (and small hot water tank) with up to four people who will all be exploring Rome all day. Your experience may depend on whether the other room is rented out and who is there.

We didn't get to explore the neighborhood too much. It is a bit darker at night but seems like a safe area. The 3€ pizza place next door is awesome. Metro access is good and there is a bus stop very close by that can take you to the Colosseum and Forum area.

  • Antonio's apartment is very accessible and he communicates well to ensure a good stay. While it is not walking distance from many of Rome's big attractions, it is very close to the Metro A line which is convenient for most things. I recommend it.
