Walking distance to most Portland attractions including Back Cove (.5 mile), Deering Oaks Park (.25 mile), Portland's Arts district (.75 miles) and Portland's Old Port Area (1.5 miles). Literally feet to the University of Southern Maine Campus.
Easy access to US295, Portland Jetport, Amtrak DownEaster and Bus.
Off street parking for 1 car.
1 large bedroom with California king size bed and walk-in closet. 1 additional room with 2 twin beds, one of which is a trundle.
1 bathroom with shower/tub. Must walk thru smaller bedroom to get to bathroom.
Complete galley style kitchen with electric 2 burner cook-top, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, basic food stuffs, utensils. The basic food stuffs allotment will include at least the below:
At least one of English muffins, bagels, bread.
There are several grocery stores within walking distance of the apartment.

There are 10 steps involved to get from the first floor up to the bedrooms and bathroom which are on the second floor. If you have trouble with steps this room is probably not for you.
The TV has Netflix only.
Only the large bedroom is air conditioned.
All children (including babies) count as people, so two parents plus a child would be 3 guests.
You have access to the entire apartment.
Interaction with Guests
We do not interact with guests unless asked. Of course we are available for questions or issues via email and phone. We also live in the same house in which the apartment is located.
Be aware that we go to bed at 10 PM and will not be available until approx. 6 AM.
There are at least two grocery stores within walking distance; Hannafords and Trader Joe's. Whole Foods is a longer walk but doable for the hardy, and very close if you have a car. There is a laundry mat within walking distance as well; Union Station Wash and Fold at 290 Saint John St.
The nearest pick up point for the Metro bus is less than 1/4 mile from the house. Just run a search on Metro Bus, Portland Maine for the schedule and route map.
Please be aware that there is no smoking allowed anywhere on the premises. Sorry no pets are allowed, many of our guests have allergies.
Check-in time is after 3:00 PM
Check-out time is 12 noon
We expect quiet after 10 PM.
Guests must leave the apartment as they found it. This includes the below:
All food stuffs discarded or properly stored.
All dishes washed and put away.
All spills cleaned.
All trash/rubbish in the waste or trash bags.
Any used bedding stripped and piled on the bed for pickup.
All used towels in the laundry hamper in the bathroom.
If we get snow while you are staying with us it will be your responsibility to shovel your car out. We will provide a shovel. We have the plow guy come once per storm. Also if your car is in the driveway when the plow guy comes you will have to move the car so that he can completely clear the driveway.
