Camille had to go away over the time we were due to stay there, but she made sure everything was in order and that we checked in ok.
Camille's mom Phil even fetched us from the station and took us to get wellingtons for the music festival we were going to the next day. Both Phil and Camille are such lovely ladies, they really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed!
Camille's place is exactly as described in the listing, an arty cottage. It's full of little things to look at, you can see an arty person lives there!
The bed was really comfortable, bathroom has all you need, and everything is clean and tidy.
The bus stop is literally right outside the front door, and it's a nice little neighborhood.
Camille absolutely deserve the superhost title!the stay was great and very comfortable and Camille was very friendly, welcoming, and available when we ever needed anything..not to mention totally cool which reflects on her apartment..would definitely visit again when in Dublin:)
Camille was so welcoming and helpful from the very beginning of our conversations. When I arrived in Dublin, she gave me directions and even picked me up from the bus stop and helped me get luggage (all of my oversized things!) to my room.
The cottage was precious and very much as pictured. I felt very at home when staying with Camille as she immediately offered me a cup of tea and chatted with me. We didn't get too many chances for visiting with one another, but I really enjoyed our brief conversations and my entire stay was a pleasant one. I miss Dublin after living there in 2011 and so this stay at Camille's was a perfect way for me to feel at home in Dublin, but out of the busy city center. I would certainly return, if she'd have me. :)
Lovely little sea side town! Was great to escape the intensity of Dublin in the evenings.
Me and my girlfriend have stayed in Camille's house for a week and we had a great time. The house was nice and confortable, the room was small but nice and the bed was very confortable.
Camille is a very nice and kind person, she gave us all informations about public transport and the day we arrived she gave us a lift from the bus stop to her home.
The house is a little far from the city centre but there is a bus stop in front of it, also there is a DART station in the nearings (15 minutes walking). I recommend staying at Camille's, she is very hospitable.
I stayed 2 months in Dublin to learn English at school in Dùn Laoghaire.
I spent in Camille ‘s house a great time, the house and the bedroom are comfortable and beautiful.
Camille is a friendly , generous and an interesing women. She introduced me to her friends and her mother, and my sister and my boyfriend was welcomed for weekends.
She has many recommadations to visit and enjoy my trip and she proposed to drive me in some places (Dalkey city, the city centre, Kiliney beach or the amazing Glendalough place) and I am very thankful to her to take care.
It was a great experience, no regret !
About the Host, Camille
I am a relaxed arty theatre producer but with the balance of a part-time IT career! Recently got some work done to the house so its bright and airy as well as being full of character. I am a very social person and have a lot of friends who live nearby. A usual weekend would include walks on the beach in killiney and a visit to the artisan food market in Dun Laoghaire. When the sun shines, there is nowhere better in the world than Ireland (I think!!)
