  • We had an excellent time at Camille's house. Her house is very confortable. Camille was supportive in providing us with information about Dublin and Iireland. she is very friendly! I highly recommend Camille!

  • Our stay with Camille was really fun. She was an amazing host. Super helpful, and really welcoming. The area was beautiful, a quick walk away from the ocean. The house was adorable! The bus was literally right outside the house, so it was really easy to get to downtown Dublin. It was nice to be outside the city and see some small towns. Overall, Wonderful! Five stars!

  • I stayed at Arty cottage near Dalkey for 3 weeks in November 2013 to attend an intensive training module at UCD. Camille is a warm, considerate host and person. I did not see her much during my stay as she was really busy however she always found the time to ask me about my day/course and very supportive throughout. Small hiccups were handled by Camille quickly (she is a great trouble shooter!). The house is lovely and it has a great garden area. Great wifi connection and countless tv channels. Charming living room with real fireplace, big separate kitchen. Small fridge and separate small freezer however all functional. The bedroom was clean and big enough for my needs and had lots of storage space which I really appreciated. The waterfront is an 18 minute walk downhill (!) and is absolutely breathtaking. Good shopping (pharmacy; groceries, etc) around. I went to the Rochestown Leisure Centre (about 20 min walk) for swimming (well worth it if you are staying with Camille for a bit). Bus at the door gets you to Dublin city Center in about 50 minutes (depending on time of day). There is another bus option about 10 minutes away if you are going to UCD (it also goes to town) and the Dart is 18 mins away (downhill). Wonderful Sunday market at People's Park. If you want to be outside of the city centre or are planning to visit WIcklow and around that area, this is a good place to stay. Camille's mother is always ready to step in if needed she lives close by and she is absolutely delightful.

  • We are sisters age 24 and 22. Our dad booked a stay for us at Camille's Arty Cottage.

Camille is an amazing hostess! She was so warm and welcoming
and relaxed, we felt like we had arrived at the home of an old friend. The cottage is adorable and you get, I think, an all-around better experience then just staying in the downtown Dublin area, because it is closer to a Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey, two seaside towns that have so much charm, and beautiful streets and paths.

Not only did Camille open her home to us, she gave us lots of good advice on places to visit and things to do, sometimes even showing us around herself, which made the experience so much better. She is such a sweet, fun, and considerate person. We would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Ireland, especially for the first time. Even just being there seven days, we
feel like we got to really see Ireland and forged a friendship that we will not forget. We miss you Camille!

  • Mi wife and me stayed in Dun Laoghaire in July, during two weeks, doing an English Course.
When we arrived at Camille's home, she was very friendy with us. She is charming and nice. While we lived with her, we felt like in our home.
The bedroom had a comfortable bed. We had plenty of hot water in the bathroom, wireless Internet, many channels in the TV and we could use the kitchen, the beautiful garden...
    Highly recommend staying here!

  • I booked 2 nights' accommodation at Camille's place for my parents visiting from Australia, and they were very happy with their stay there.
On the house, also the hospitality.

  • Fantastic place to stay in Dublin, really comfortable, easy to get to, cosy and pleasant atmosphere. Would certainly recommend and will stay again.

  • After a long journey Camille met me with warmth and friendliness and immediately put the kettle on. The house is small, cottage like and typically Dublin. Camille is such a gracious host and fed me, twice! The bed was so comfortable I slept in the next day. So easy for transport links into the centre, with a lovely city garden to sit out in should the weather be good! Loved staying here and will be in touch with Camille again the next time I need to stay over in Dublin!

  • I enjoyed a brilliant week's stay at Camille's. She was away for some of the time (which I knew) and had prepared detailed instructions for anything that might possibly be needed (incl. information on taxi discounts!!). While she was around, she was readily available for questions and included me to chat over tea/coffee in her garden with her mum and, despite being very busy work-wise, took the time to show me everything on that prepared list herself and also arranged for her mum to be available for any questions during her absence. In short: 100% fool-proof!! :-) Both she and her mum were lovely in every way and I couldn't help feeling very much at home. Camille's house is a typical small Irish cottage (i.e. it's continuously being improved) and as charmingly decorated as in the pictures. The bedroom is small, but has everything you need for the night: a queen-size bed, a sideboard with drawers, a wardrobe with hangers as well as some fluffy towels. Ask for a hairdryer and Camille will help you out! Due to the size of the bedroom, I more than welcomed the possibility to break out into Camille's beautiful conservatory, sitting room, dining room and garden, to the use all of which I was warmly invited. The bathroom directly opposite the bedroom is of a similarly cute one-person-at-a-time size ;-) fitted with a good shower (part of the tub, so you can take a bath alternatively), sink and WC. The best thing about the bathroom were these fabulous skylights that just brighten everything and make you smile when you enter for your morning rituals! Good to know and have for self-caterers: Centra and Londis shops are both just a few steps away, so I wanted for nothing. Great (not only) if you're on business: The no. 7 bus into town has free wireless internet all the way - super convenient! Overall, especially being a host myself, I can only warmly recommend staying at Camille's!

I am a relaxed arty theatre producer but with the balance of a part-time IT career! Recently got some work done to the house so its bright and airy as well as being full of character. I am a very social person and have a lot of friends who live nearby. A usual weekend would include walks on the beach in killiney and a visit to the artisan food market in Dun Laoghaire. When the sun shines, there is nowhere better in the world than Ireland (I think!!)
