  • Ray is uber reliable and conscientious. Flat was lovely, clean and all mod cons. Single guy flat so don't expect wide range of pots/pans.

    Response from Ray:

Since we eat out alot at all the nearby restaurants, we downsized the cooking supplies for space. Flat contains the following cookware and more:
    1-qt. covered pot
    3-qt. covered pot
    8" skillet
    12" skillet
    3-qt. covered sauté pan
    Nylon slotted turner
    Nylon slotted spoon
    Soup ladle
    2 Whisk
    Pasta strainer
    2 mixing bowls
    Brick pizza plate
    Knives(butcher, carving etc)
    Measuring cups and spoons
    8 piece eating utensils

This may be small for big chefs but quite large for small cooks.

  • Ray's condo was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Raleigh. My husband shared the place with our two small kids. Everything was clean and check-in was a breeze. Ray leaves great sry of guidelines and helpful info on the are, and is accessible if you need him. Easy parking, pool on sight, quiet and easygoing neighbors, and awesome location close to parks and downtown. Definitely a great bang for your buck for a family of four to stay!

  • Ray was great! We got there a bit early and he had no problems letting us in. the place was great. Juice and mini bagels provided! Nice pool area. Quite. Close to city. Definitely would recommend it.

  • Flawless stay at Ray's place in Raleigh. The condo was exactly as described and very clean and comfortable. Ray responded to texts immediately and was very accommodating.

We did some traveling while in the area and the condo was very easy to get in and out of and was a $6-$7 uber ride from downtown bars/restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here.

    Response from Ray:

Our neighbor is trying several steps to make the addresses easier to locate. A few other guests have also made the same comments. Hopefully a solution with come soon.

Oh, and thanks for the extra beer in the frig. It won't go to waste.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Ray's condo. It was tastefully decorated and provided plenty of space for our family while we were in town for our daughter's wedding. We had some guests over too while we were there and they were all very impressed! Thanks, Ray, for the great accommodations!

  • We recently stayed at Ray's condo for a few days and it couldn't have been a better experience. The condo was clean and comfortable, and it is ideally located, for those who wish to be close to downtown. Ray was quick to respond to any messages I sent and made the whole process extremely easy: I would highly recommend staying here.

  • Ray has an excellent condo in Raleigh. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is clean. The living room/dining room area is spacious. The balcony was enjoyable in the evenings and for a private conversation for two or more. The two beds were excellent according to our family reports. The sofa and air mattress given thumbs-up.
Hard for anyone finding a closer location with so much free parking adjacent to downtown. We stayed in our motorhome with line-of-sight to the condo. The neighborhood is quiet, low traffic flow but right next to direct shot into town.

    Response from Ray:

Smart TV comes with basic cable channels and lots of pay per view movie options and Netflx. Pans/pots are in bottom drawer of stove and next to stove in cabinet. Additional pots are also in cabinet next to coffee mugs. More than plenty for 4 or 6 guests. Microwave coming soon.

  • We were really happy with our stay at Ray's. He wasn't joking about the stairs, though! When we arrived there was a note with the living instuctions (where to find things) and a nice fruit and bagel spread left out for us! Nice touch. Figuring out the condo logistics was a breeze. The thermostat was easy, the TV was pretty self-explanatory (though a quick instruction set could be left for those who don't know to hit the AT&T button on top of the remote to control that particular box). We spent an afternoon at the pool (It was an amazing weekend in the 80s) and were really pleased with the location and relative quietness of the area.

Our only complaint was the towel situation. While there were enough for our 4 people, the towels left a little to be desired. Otherwise, everything was great, we would recommend and stay at Ray's again in the future.

    Response from Ray:

Instructions were taken by another guest but Help button on remote takes to you how to screen. Care was taken to provide fresh clean bath towels for 4 guests but older bath towels appear to have been placed near them by mistake.

  • A friend and I went to Raleigh to run the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon and rented Ray's apartment. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Ray made us very welcome and was flexible with our leave time after the race.

    A wonderful experience.
