We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is in a beautiful and very peaceful location and the house itself is very comfortable. Sandy and Jorge were wonderful hosts. They thoughtfully included food for a continental breakfast and they were always so helpful and jovial (even when we accidentally let the goats out by securing the gate incorrectly!) We would highly recommend this place and will hopefully come back sometime!
We had an amazing experience at this home. From our first moment there, Sandy and Jorge were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The property and home it's very cute and was perfect for our family, which included four adults and two children. The home is located conveniently close to Arroyo Grande and the surrounding Central Coast to towns. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again.
She was very welcoming through our messages, and the description was accurate. The neighborhood was rustic, and had farms nearby. Two of the ladies in our group enjoyed walking around to see the nearby horses, ponies, and goats while the rest of us went out to ride ATVs.
One minor thing, in the guest room with the two twin beds, the one on the left creaked with small movements, making my friend sleep rigidly so she wouldn't disturb others. The one on the right was very comfortable, and my other friend slept very well on it.
Enjoyed the cozy atmospheric, the living room, and the cooking area. Plenty of space to drop our stuff off, sprawl, and relax. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the downstairs gym area, but it seemed worthwhile. The heater worked fine. Clean towels were provided and the bathroom was clean.
It was a great experience overall.
The experience at this home was great. They provided us a continental breakfast and was so helpful to us as well. During our stay they were very kind in asking us how we were doing and if our stay was comfortable for us. I would definitely come back to this place again.
We absolutely loved our stay at this guest house. It's not too far of a drive in from the 101 freeway but once you get there, you'll feel absolutely secluded with views of rolling hills. Both Sandy and Jorge are very welcoming hosts (they stay at the main house next to the guest house). There are goats and pigs on the property that you can go up to. The house itself was spacious and has a gym/laundry facility downstairs if you needed it. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Our niece & nephew was supposed to join but couldn't make it - otherwise i'm sure this would be a good place for a family to stay at as well (esp w/ the animals around).
Sandy and Jorge were the most hospitable hosts imaginable. We arrived very late at night, and found their cozy guest house with some provisions for the morning, which was very thoughtful. Their property is absolutely stunning and there is even a distant view of the ocean from the back porch. Our daughter loved their goats - we nick named one of them Ombre - and it was so relaxing to be in such a beautiful environment, yet such a short drive to town. We got to know Sandy and Jorge a bit too, and absolutely love them and their family. We'll be back again as soon as we can!
We truly enjoyed our stay in the country. The place was clean and lovely with a 360deg view that doesn't quit. We loved watching the sun set over the ocean from the balcony. The kids loved staying there. Sandy and Jorge were amazing and we are truly blessed to have met them.
About the Host, Sandy And Jorge
Jorge, myself (Sandy) and our 2 kids live at the beautiful Central Coast of California! We are a Christian family who live on a 7 acre ranch on top of a hill with spectacular views. Our ranch often has various farm animals, such as goats or pigs. Our rental home is on the same property with our main home, so we're always here to make sure your stay is peaceful and comfortable! We love the area because of the beaches, wine country, and the wonderful little towns, such as the "Village" in Arroyo Grande. Feel free to ask us about local restaurants, churches, activities, destination spots, etc. We love to host! :)
