Such a unique experience to live on a barge for a few days. Close to everything. Easily walkable or uber to the rescue. We loved Seattle!!
The houseboat was just as described with a lovely view of downtown city lights down Lake Union. The place was comfort, well equipped and quiet at night for sleeping. I'd love to go back sometime.
Staying on the houseboat was an experience we will never forget! From the neighborhood location to the comfort of the living space- it was perfect. We parked our car for free in a nearby lot for our 3 day stay and were able to walk to everything- downtown, the market, grocery store, Fremont, etc. After a long day of checking out Seattle, the boat was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine while watching the city light up and sailboats cruise by. Pam was fantastic and walked up through everything upon our arrival. We cant wait to go back!!
We had an amazing time at the barge. The weather was perfect so we went swimming and even jumped of the roof; great fun.
Pam was really welcoming and we would definitely come again!
We loved The Barge! Location is great for enjoying the lake, downtown, and other nearby neighborhoods. Loved morning coffee on the top deck, and watching float planes take off and land and other Lake Union goings-on. It's cozy and well appointed. Swimming off the lower deck was refreshing on the unusually hot Seattle days. Pam was welcoming and most accommodating, and the neighbors are friendly and helpful. We'd love to stay again on our next trip to Seattle.
The barge was an incredible experience. You can see the city skyline from the rooftop and back deck as you take in the peaceful view of the lake. Pam was a great host - everything was cleaned and ready for us with easy instructions on how to use everything. The barge was very homey with the way it was decorated. Everything you need is available to you, including free weekend parking right at the entrance to the gate. Check in and check out was a breeze and Nancy next door was very kind and was available if we needed anything since Pam was out of town. I would love to stay on the barge again if I'm in Seattle!
The barge was in a great location and had awesome views. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the views. Pam was very helpful showing us how to use the features of the houseboat.
